Nice hotel, wonderful Budapest
3 nights spent in Budapest, in Hotel Castle Garden, both the city and the hotel was wonderful. The hotel is located on the hill of Buda side, just 100 metres from the castle district which is one of the tourist center of the city and has an old and super atmosphere with small streets, ancient buildings and good restaurants (we tried the 21 bistro restaurant, recommended by the kind receptinist girl). The hotel was modern , cosy, spotlessly clean, and with lovely helpful staff at the reception. The breakfast was OK, we had it in the garden of the restaurant which was a unique experience, a good start for the day. A lot of good programs were recommended by the reception, the best was the 2 day city tour package. Altogether: we were absolutely satisfied with the hotel and the city, it is recommended for everyone. We will return :)

A great stay with nice folks...
We stayed at the Hotel Castle Garden May 1-6, 2013. The room with private balcony was comfortable and clean, and the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. They're really paying attention to the needs of the guests. We had dinner twice in the hotel restaurant, and found it convenient and just as good as other local restaurants. Truly excellent dinners on the outdoor patio. The included breakfast was delicious and had plenty of variety each morning. We were staying with a group of fifteen people that had negotiated a rate, and had not paid attention to the rate before we checked out. On checkout I was quite surprised that the rate was about half of what I had expected for a hotel in such a location with such a good facility. We will definitely recommend this hotel to friends traveling to Budapest, and will stay there on next year's trip. I rarely can say that after hotel stays in other cities.

A Lovely and Comfortable Hotel next to Castle Hill
This was our first trip abroad with our two small boys. Booking this hotel was easy and the communication was fast and friendly. They gave us two joined rooms with a cot. The rooms were great with king sized beds and a patio area. The area was quiet and we had very restful nights. Breakfast was included and in the continental style. Free coffee and bottled water were in the lobby, nice touch. Swings and slides outside which kept the boys happy. Again, nice touch. The restaurant was mid-range with a combination of Hungarian and very nice pizza. Quite tasty. I would definitely come back to this most reasonably priced hotel.

Highly recommended
We stayed in panorama room, the view was very nice. Friendly personal, nice food, very close to everything. We had a problem with a light on the staircase that didn't get fixed after we requested it but it didn't affect us too much. We also had to put the beds together as we booked double but got twin room. After all we would still recommend.

You can't go wrong!
I chose this hotel because of the good reviews & also the manager takes the time to comment on these reviews which shows he cares & is in the right job!! Yes the position of the hotel is excellent as said before, the Buda side of the city is more residential. An excellent facility of the hotel is having cold & hot drinks available for guests free of charge in the reception area from 11am to 5pm. On our last day the manger kindly let us use the shower in the mini wellness area as our flight wasn't until the evening 7 we had to understandably vacate our room in the morning as they were fully booked. It was a real treat to be able to sit outside for breakfast in a city hotel. For me personally, the breakfast could have varied a bit more but this was not a real problem.
