Noisy but central hotel
To be fair it's not the hotel that is noisy but the pub with loud music it is built over. You'll either love it and be in the pub or be trying to get to sleep for an early start and hating it. The hotel staf are great and friendly, there are 2 pc's with internet connection downstairs. But wifi in the rooms is some complicated login that is a pain on anything without a keyboard, "breakfast" is a sandwich and carton of juice left at your door which is quirky (but portable) and oh dear, the food fascists have visited the coffee at reception where there is only dreadful skimmed milk (why bother) and i ended up buying proper milk. The coffee was good though. All in all, the location is good with restaurants and bars nearby, but i'd try a different place next time

Poor quality for the money
Spending NOK1200 for a room you expect the basics to be in order but it is not. The television is not working, breakfast hangs in a back outside your door and is a small juice and a sandwich and asking the reception for assistance to rent a car, the lady didn't know of any such thing but recommended I look in the internet, while she herself actually was surfing around on the internet.The room is also very basic, however there is hot water in the shower, so at least this is working.

Probably the worst hotel I have stayed in in Norway
I stayed here during a three day business trip to Bergen and was not impressed by the quality of this hotel. The room was extremely small even by Norwegian standard and the bathroom was not much better. The bathroom is basically a shower With a toilet and a sink. There is no hair dryer in the room and the breakfast is a joke. A sandwich wrapped in plastic, one apple and warm apple juice.Luckily my room faced the back yard so I was not bothered by the nearby pub. However, there is a night cub in the basement and even though I stayed on the third floor the bass kept me awake.Location is the only thing in favour of this hotel.

Nice place indeed!

Good but noisy
There were two nightclubs: one almost under the room, other one ¿¿¿ on the opposite side of the street. The night from Friday to Saturday was VERY noisy. Breakfast is light but in overpriced Norway there is an advantage. Maybe stay here if visit Bergen again just because of the price and location.
