Basic, no frills hotel.
Stayed here for one night to celebrate my friends birthday!It's a very basic hotel, our room was tiny, no wardrobe but a shelf with hangers underneath, mattress cheap and lumpy and breakfast was adequate.Ok to sleep in after a night on the tiles, not a place to take your other half for a nice romantic break. Just an average, no frills hotel. I would use again if all other hotels were full!Location however was fantastic, right next to Lime st station and 5 mins walk to the nightlife.

Excellent location very basic hotel.
The location if this hotel is excellent. Right by Lime street station and 5 minutes from the town. We were seeing Simple Minds at the Empire theatre which is 100 yards away. Parking on the station car park for 24 hours pre booked was ¿¿4.50. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The hotel is basic with tired and scuffed decor that needs attention. Our hotel room was tiny with a bathroom that was disproportionate and twice the size of the bedroom. The twin beds were like camp beds with small duvets and poor quality pillows. There was no room for us at breakfast as the limited tables were all taken. The breakfast looked poor quality and little choice self service. We ended up going to Wether spoons and buying a breakfast!!! I thought for ¿¿95.00 it was overpriced for what it was, it should be more like ¿¿70.00. For a basic hotel with good location it's ok, but don't expect much.

Great location
Very close to train station. Walked around city and walked back from Anfield Stadium, but that took about 40 mins. Reception staff were young but polite enough. Sign in room said to leave keys at reception every time you left, but reception said you didn't need to if you didnt want to. Requested double room and got three beds, so there was room to spread out. Good large tv on wall. Beds were hard but pretty comfortable. Bathroom was in separate room to beds and was very clean and spacious. Continental breakfast was all right. Good range of food,but pastries were store bought and dry. I recommend this hotel to people who want to be close to train station and in the city.

Clean, modern and cheap
A nice budget hotel next to lime street station and around 5 mins walk into the centre. Checking in was easy enough, though they did ask for photo ID??? The rooms are very small with bed up against the wall and little room on the other side, but as somewhere to just sleep it was fine. The bed was comfy, there was a kettle and brew kit, and the bathroom was clean and modern. The continental breakfast was as you'd expect - a little basic but good enough for the price we paid (¿¿50 for a night on Good Friday). Would deffo stay here again for that price!!!
