Nice and clean!
We enjoyed our stay in the Fairfield Inn in Astoria. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room and common areas were clean and tidy. Although the room was a bit small and the walls a bit thin (loud-talking neighbors could be heard but thankfully they quieted down quickly), we figured this was part of the NYC experience. :) The bathroom, bed, and furnishings were clean, well-equipped, and functional. And, we appreciated the thermostat a/c control and the shower's firm water pressure. The hotel is within reasonable walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, and bars. Next time we visit, we're definitely staying at this hotel and will likely drive to take advantage of the free parking.

Just what we needed!
Very convenient for us. Stayed while visiting family relocated to area, hotel has easy access by car and is conveniently located to LaGuardia Airport with shuttle and town car service offered. Also a short four block walk to last stop on subway if you prefer. Our king (great mattress) room was very clean and much appreciated. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Continental breakfast was usual selection with plenty of restocking and also very clean. Very close to well known Astoria dinner Neptunes with plenty of other choices within walking distance.

Great!
We enjoyed our overnight stay at this property. Very attractive lobby with plenty of seating. The King room was clean and the bed was very comfortable! Complimentary parking was much appreciated, too! The complimentary Continental breakfast was the standard Fairfield Inn fare, which we enjoyed very much. If we find ourselves in the area again, we'll definitely stay here!

Great for the price
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I had never been to New York before, and was leery of such an inexpensive hotel near the airport. However, the rooms were extremely clean and well maintained. I had two great nights of sleep. The staff was very helpful in storing my luggage on my day of departure, as my flight was in the early evening, allowing me to have extra time in Manhattan. It also only took the shuttle 10 minutes to pick me up from the airport. Be aware that the shuttle to/from the subway is on a schedule. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to someone who wanted a inexpensive hotel near LaGuardia.

Great Stay for What it Is
My fiance and I stayed here during a transitional period, while we were looking to move to the local area. The hotel is quiet, clean, and the staff is helpful and friendly. It may not be great for all tourists (it is a bit far from the subway), but it is close to the airport (but far enough away to not be bothered by planes). We direct all our out of town guests to stay here. The parking lot is small, but we have never had an issue. Good for business tripsNote- we traveled and stayed here several times in 2011 (did not have a Trip Advisor Account at the time), but have had family stay here as recently as December 2012. Therefore, I placed the time my family stayed here last, because there was no option for when we stayed.
