We have been fortunate to have visited the island on many occasions. We have tried several hotels, indeed, we have viewed others in the Corralejo resort area so I feel confident in what I say, this is a great hotel !!The many times we have stayed in this hotel, we have never been dissapointed with the cleanliness and service the hotel provides.We have tried all catering options, but our favourite is the B&B option as the breakfasts are very good. The evening meals are ok, but to be honest, its worth wandering around the resort to some of the nice restuarants that the resort has to offer, particularly on the sea front near the harbour. How fresh do you want this fish ?There are no sea views. The front of the hotel is residential, but there are sea side views. If you wish to sit on the balcony and watch the sea, then maybe this isnt the hotel, but then, surely, for the sake of about 100 feet, you could walk to the beach !!!Another plus is value for money, you cant fault it. There are other hotels in the resort that are half the price, there are that are 3, 4 even 6 times the price, but overall, the location is perfect.There is underground parking for a fee, but there is ample parking around the resort within 5 mins walking distance.Cleaned daily with fresh towels, what more could you want ?Having stayed in this hotel 3 times before, we are about to go on our 4th and cant wait.Hotel is ideal for business trippers, couple and families.Pool is better than ok and well maintained. Plenty of sun beds etc. Real sun trap as its enclosed all around - not a bad thing if the Canaries gets its wind up !!!!Main street is being re-furbished all the time. If you want a McDonalds, forget it ! There are no chains in this area. There are restuarants in the area that cater for everyone though. One or two English or Irish ran, but a lot that are run by the locals cooking local cuisine.Phew, hope this helps.

Not bad hotel although certainly not 4****
We had room on 2nd floor facing police station - no real noise at night to be honest - odd car hornRoom size good, twin beds as standard, plenty of wardrobe space PLUS a free fridge... Bathroom good size & nice shower Small balcony & good double glazing which help cut out any noise Air con in each roomFood - not 4 Star - yes there was a good basic choice as with most 3 star hotels, staff friendly No dress for dinner policy as normal with 4 star - people turned up in what they felt like.... Pool area - good with a few sun beds & no problems getting one at any timeLocation - wonderful, close to centre, short walk to the beach, waterfront & shopsGood mix of guests - not many Brits which wasn't a problem for us - staff spoke enough English to get by. Plenty of local bars - watch out for the varying price of beer though

well, we visited here before, and on returning we found they'd improved the place, we requested a quiet room, got one on the 2nd floor overlooking a walking street, so no traffic, though a little noise during the day from the coffee shops, though not at night, and a saxaphone busker around 7 in the evening, so nothing major... The room was nice, though a little cramped about the bed, which was comfortable, but still 2 single beds pushed together.. the shower great and generally the room was clean and comfortable, and with lots of staff the place was generally well maintained, though one lift wasnt operational throught the holiday, which made it bit of a walk if you needed to use one. Generally though, it's a very good hotel, the location is probably the best in the town, and I would recommend it to anyone I know

Well run hotel in great location
After reading some of the reviews we had a few trepidations but we wanted a week of warmth and it was cheap! Our fears were unfounded however. The hotel is in a great location, yards from the sea and the old town. We had a room(junior suite) overlooking the main road but it was clean, spacious and very comfortable - I'm not convinced upgrading to a suite is desirable because the tv in the suite is in the 'living room' and out of view from the bed! Staff were friendly and efficient - one night I knocked over a lamp and fused all the electrics in the room - I told reception and maintainance arrived in 2 minutes to reset the fuse box(the broken lightbulb was replaced the next morniing )The breakfast was decent - watching guests eating brussels with scrambled egg and other items is fun. There were very few Brits at the hotel as it doesn't feature in any brochures it seems. In our view tourists are staying in hotels on the edge of town(buses appear to be few and far between) and paying more, when the Corralejo Beach is a much better choice. We really like the hotel and the resort and hope to return.

less than 3 star
We have spent 1 week in this hotel, first they put us in the small dark room, view on the street, AmE street floor and we were like in the ZOO cause of the crazy dirty iron bars dividing us from the noisy street....after two days of complaining they moved us in another junior suit, promissing this one has no bars and a sea view...it was a street view and cause of the reconstruction of the restaurant we had to listen to the sound of jackhammer since 7am till 8pm... the room was dirty, bad smelling, there was a mold all over the bathroom and it was so disgusting that we didnt dare to take a shower without shoes...even we booked a junior suit originally and they moved us from one junior suit to another, they wanted us to pay extra 15euros for each night!!!...unfortunately we booked a half-board but after the second dinner attempt we decided not to eat anything in the hotel anymore...breakfast: no fruit, if yes, than from the can!!!, 2 types of salami of unpleasant look and taste, no sweet fresh pastry, juice from powder....dinner was simply disaster, raw fish, frozen vegetable warmed up in microwave(and still cold), two days in a row noone asked if we would like to drink something...vegetarian dish: spagetti every day We are young couple from Vienna, we are not extreme demanding people but this was simply too much, we dont recommend this hotel at all
