Right across the road from the beach, easy walk into quiet town centre. Great places to eat nearby, everything you need close at hand. Highly recommend for nice quiet holiday.Went here a couple of years ago for a cheap last minute break with my wife. Great place to recharge the batteries. Going again this year.

Brilliant !
We read all the reviews before we went and had mixed feelings about going, but we were pleased with choosing this resort. So much so, that we are going back for 4 weeks in June and we never go to the same place abroad twice !We had everything we needed to go self catering, it was clean and if we needed anything the staff were really only too willing to help.It very much depends on what you want from a resort, it is a place to relax and a short walk away is lots of restaurants and bars. it is very bicycle friendly as there are bicycle lanes everywhere !We can't wait to return !!!!!

Birthday weekend
Myself and 5 friends have just had a great weekend here we live in Lanzarote but it was still like a holiday,yes the place is a bit tired but the staff and the cleanness more then make up for it,and the price was very good anybody who gets a place at that price cannot complain well some always do,but would go again for a break we have been in 4/5 star places that don't show the same greeting its quiet but easy walking distance to the center

Perfect for a relaxing break
My second visit here in 3 years and this one was just as good as the previous one. If you want clubs and loud bars, you shouldn't be going to Corralejo. If it's a peaceful break you want, then The Bristol Playa is ideal. Spotless clean with a lovely pool area and pleasant staff. Yes, it's a 15 minute (pleasant) walk to the main strip and most restaurants if you go along the coast. But its only 10 minutes through the back streets. There are 2 large supermarkets and a few bars and restaurants within 5 minutes. I would especially recommend the Avenida restaurant 2 minutes away behind the hotel. Good sized portions, well prepared and good value for money. My room did not have a frying pan, a must for my breakfasts. But a quick call to reception and one was delivered in no time. One word of caution if you have kids. Don't give them the TV remote, it has a 24 hour hardcore porn channel!! You can ask reception to turn it off.

Not for everyone!
My family and I have recently returned from this hotel, and while it had it's good points, due to my stay here, Fuerteventura will not be high on my list of places to revisit!The Hotel complex itself was clean, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, pool area was large, lots of sunbeds, cleaned all day, every day and cleaners came to your room 5 times in one week. The 2 bedroomed apartment we had was very spacious, we had 2 balconies and had a sea view which was breath-taking. Unfortunately, they were the only good points.The actual complex was a 15 minute walk from everywhere, shops, bars, supermarket. etc (although there was a supermarket on-site but was a little expensive due to having no competition), so if you have walking difficulties then this is not the place for you unless you are willing to pay for a taxi every time you leave the complex.Although very large, the complex, in my opinion is wasted. It has the ability to offer so much as it has the monopoly of it's customers due solely to its location. It has a bar area inside, but we were informed by staff that this is never open as they don't see a need for it! It has a poolside bar that sells snacks and alcohol between 12.30 and 4.30, sharp!There are a few games to keep children entertained, but again, due to the size and location there could be so much more, they have the space.The buildings and interior and in serious need of an upgrade, just being brought into the 21st century would be nice, but then to be honest, as I said it was clean and you don't go on holiday to look at the furniture!Although they have free WIFI in the lobby area, again there is not really any nice place to sit or mingle, just hard backed chairs dotted here and there. But I have to say I have kept the best bit till last....the food!!!If you are looking to diet then please pick this hotel. I have never in all of my life endured such bad food!! I am not a skinny Minnie, nor am I a fussy eater but I would not have served any of the food in this hotel to a prison!While there was lots of choice at breakfast, the standard and quality was unimaginably poor. As we were booked half board we really did try on several occasions to eat in, yet on all of these occasions, we promptly left, walked into the town and ate in a restaurant. We paid almost ¿¿2200 for 4 of us for the week, half board and depending where we ate in the town, were having to pay a further ¿¿50 to ¿¿100 per night for dinner. It was cold, sloppy, half cooked and actually made me physically sick one night! I have never written a review that has been derogatory towards someone's business but I really do feel that this needs to be addressed either by the holiday company or the hotel.Overall our stay here was OK but I would definitely deter any friends who were thinking of booking here! Sorry
