Great place to stay in while you explore CPH
We liked this hotel quite a bit , mostly for it's convenience. We stayed about a week. It was roomy by European Standards. Bed, couch, coffee table nice little shower / bath. The biggest plus was how close it was to the train station, just down the block and up some stairs. It had an outside courtyard and you could buy drinks in the lobby and sit out with them. Tivoli, the bars and restaurants were all an easy walk. We liked that there were breweries so close! Bryggeriet Apollo had a good beer/ food combo for dinner but BrewPub Kobenhaven, had the best brews. Vesterbro Bryghus was where we ended our nights as it was on the way. The first night there we went into a little bar and the owner was fantastic! He ignored us for about 10 minutes while he served a few tables of 50-60+ year olds shots he said I am sorry but they will tear me apart if I dont take them drinks! Then we talked , laughed and drank danish beer for hours. He was hilarious and a great introduction to the city. The breakfast in the morning was very good, I had oatmeal and yogurt , boiled egg and hot tea every day. My husband had danish, toasted bread and butter, juice . The staff were very helpful. Yes it was pretty basic, but neat , clean, fine and mostly quiet. View out window was residential. It is true that they do start vacuuming at 8:30 or so and if you take advantage of the CPH nightlife that is early to hear a vacuum. Also there was a big tour of kids who for 1 or 2 days made breakfast loud and crowded, but they didnt run out of anything. we did accidentally lock our room safe incorrectly ( our fault) and no one at the desk had a master key so it took us two days to get our laptop out. If you know europeans they just dont get worked up about anything and you will find it does you no good either. I didnt find that they were not helpful, they were just being european. I would stay there again for sure but my guess is that most hotels in the area were of similar value at that price point. However, since I have stayed here and I liked it , and they didnt do anything wrong I would go back next time I am in CPH.

Very basic and cold rooms
As a solo female traveler this hotel was a bit uncomfortable. Pros:Close to train station.Great breakfastCons:Heater in room was too weak so I was always coldNo shower stall, so the whole bathroom floor and toilet get soaked when showering Basic room and dated beds

good choice in central Copenhagen for budget traveller
We stayed three nights there just before Christmas. Location is good as Central railwaystation is just around the corner and Tivoli just few blocks away. The centrum is easy to reach by walk and bus connections to main attractions are within few blocks distance. Breakfast was good and free wifi worked perfectly even on the fourth floor. Room was clean and equipped with a safe. Only few minor things to complain about the room were bit too small bed for two not so small persons and the moist in the windows in the mornings..propably because of the lack of proper ventilation in the room. The staff was multilingual and very friendly. Building up a new metro station next to the hotel might cause some disturbances.

Good for one-night
Hotel is rather good located. Just 5 minutes walk to Copenhagen Central station (where you usually arrive from airport). Not far from Tivoli gardens and actually we easily walked to Nyhavn looking around city center on our way.Hotel was good for our one-night stay in Copenhagen, but I wouldn't say it is really good for a longer stay.One drawback: There are not many nice places around hotel (just asian food stores and other asian places)

ok for a short stay
Room was comfortable but small. Limited storage,hence ok for a short stay. Breakfast was good, free wi-fi everywhere. A word of caution - copenhagen metro are carrying out extensive works next to the hotel causing a diversion from the station to the hotel taking you in a dodgy area after dark, we were accosted by two men at 10 pm at night just outside our hotel. Fortunately we were alert and had noticed them loitering on the other side of the road before they made a bee-line for us.we were able to get into the hotel quickly. the metro works will continue for four more years
