Awful hotel and horrible neighborhood area
If is this the first time you are in Paris, I'm sure you wouldn't have a great vacation in Paris if you stay in this hotel at Port of Clichy(not Paris). Paris is a great city and have a lots of hotels in better areas. The same 3 stars categories, better rooms, service, and better neighborhoods... I stay in this hotel because it was the one selected by the tour operator this time. As I see it it is old fashioned, and the rooms are very small. We have a lots of problems because the water doesn't have preassure and the toilet doesn't work, and the washbowl overflows everytime it was used. I really don't think it it's recommendable for anybody...

Poor
Its clean and basic but its not a very nice room. The rooms are tiny and its like stepping back in time with the decor. Funiture is shabby also. Its fine if you just want to rest your head but we stayed out all day/evening as its not the sort of hotel you would go back to for a rest in the day. I would recommend spending a little bit extra and staying further in the city that way you'll get a nicer hotel and not worry about travel costs.

Miserable & Mundane Median
"I don't know, I am not a waiter", couldn't be a more fitting phrase for such a debaucherous excuse for a hotel. This was the response we received when asking the front desk for a room service menu as there were no staff to take an order let alone seat guests in Le Bistro. The service and overall rating of the hotel is reflected in the responses from those who have also made the mistake of booking this hotel and we agree with all of them. When we eventually ordered room service (at the bar) we had to collect the food ourselves and returned to our room. The following morning we left our tray and scraps outside the room following general protocol like in any civilised hotel to find it would be left there for a further 48 hours.The bar staff were just as rude as the front of house and struggled to find a bottle of water and an orange juice. As SueUponThames outlined, we also had trouble with the bar staff paying for a our drinks and room service order in cash over the bar. Our double room as advertised on Last Minute was actually two singles and location of the hotel is far from desirable. The extra curricular activities of those local to the area make for a very unpleasant and unsafe environment. Unfortunately there were too many negatives with regards to this booking and being two very well traveled persons, it's slightly concerning that such an establishment in a service industry still operates in this capacity. It's truly that mediocre.

Don't bother
Booked through lastminute.com, not sure how they have the cheek to say this Hotel is in Paris when it's really in Clichy!! Not a very pleasant area. Should really have know how bad it would be from the beginning, I emailed the hotel twice requesting information and they didn't bother to reply!! On checking in our double room was a twin, dark dingy and generally unloved. Staff miserable and a bit on the surly side, lacking in any customer service. Ate the first night in the restaurant which was quiet but the waiter then decided to seat everyone who came in right next to us until no-one could move, average food, ridiculous price.Then onto the bar, the staff didn't want to put our drinks on the bill until my partner made a fuss and spoke with the duty manager, then each time we ordered a drink the bar person left the bar and had to give a the receipt straight to the Manager most odd - the bar just got worse, not often manned, someone would come in serve us and disappear, only popping in and out - television blarring our only the staff watching. Again with laundry they wanted us to pay before they would give it back to us - even though by now they had swiped our credit card for our bar bill - I could go on but I'm sure you've got the picture but one last thing don't get reception to get you a taxi to the airport - way too expensive and go round the corner and hail a cab you won't have to wait 35 mins for it either - Really don't bother.

Soured my experience of France
The female staff I dealt with were inexcusably rude from the moment we checked in. Do not support this hotel with your business. Upon arrival, they made us go to an internet cafe to print our lastminute.com reservation confirmation, being if no assistance when we could not use their wifi to confirm our booking. Their manner was completely inhospitable. Had they not taken full payment upon last minute booking we would have left immediately- never before have we been treated so badly. The following morning I asked for a taxi with credit card payment facilities- she demanded a 10 euro deposit and ordered a taxi without credit card facilities, who charged us 11 euros for making a reservation, making a 7 euro trip to the coach station, 18 euros. With the exception of one kind gentleman on the desk at night, the service was unbelievably appalling. Stay far away from this place.
