Nice Rooms Helpful Staff but Dont Charge Me for Internet at These Prices
Stayed here for businesss. A beautiful location, large king sized room with a very comfortable mattress, very friendly staff but after paying $200 a night plus tax please don't charge anoher $13 a day for internet. The wooded area surrounding the parking lot is peaceful but be forwarned the trek to the hotel is over a cobblestone drive that is a bit bumpy for wheeled luggage. Would stay there again.

Decent stay for business travel, would return.
Excited for my trip but a little nervous about staying at this hotel. In my experience, the hotels in NJ are not very nice and even the chain hotels like the Marriott tend to not be maintained as other Marriotts across the country. I was pleasantly surprised. The check-in staff was very friendly and professional. The rooms were clean, not extremely old as I would have expected and the bed was comfortable. I had a late dinner at the restaurant which is more like a sports bar, but they had decent bar food. Definitely not a 5 star hotel, and I rate it more like 3.5 stars for a Marriott (it's like a nicer Courtyard Marriott with a restaurant bar), and I would stay again if traveling on business to the area.

Nature Preserve in the City
I had the pleasure of staying the night in this upscale hotel and was not disappointed. The hotel would be right at home as the Lodge in Yosemite or Yellowstone. The lobby is very rustic with exposed wooden beams and red brick walls. My room had a wonderful bed and upscale furniture. The bathroom is small but decorated with marble and slate to give an elegant appeal. Everything was spotless and the view out the large window was only of the surrounding woodland. The parking lot was 100 yards removed from the lobby but the bellman would have gladly parked my car if I so desired. The only negative I found was the lobby had a somewhat musty smell similar to what you would expect from a natural history museum. All in all a pleasant venue in an otherwise urban locale.

Serene, very restful stay
Only stayed a short couple of nights. But, it was long enough to figure out this was a very nice property -- equal to other Marriott full-service hotel/spas, without the huge, formal lobby/foyer area and without all the hustle and bustle. The spa was plenty nice and elegant; the concierge lounge was fantastic with lots of food choices and friendly attendants; and, the overall service was extremely friendly and efficient. And, there were lots of good-to-very nice restaurants within a 10 minute drive down the highway. Rooms were very comfortable and quiet...actually very calming and serene. Not sure if the massage from spa helped, but I had some very restful sleep at this Marriott property. Didn't get a chance to try the restaurant, but I imagine that experience would be very similar to the rest of the services/facilities I enjoyed -- I'm sure it would've been fantastic also. Will definitely provide this hotel a second opportunity -- I left feeling very relaxed and rested. Thanks Princeton Marriott!

Traumatized
Nice is relative to the person saying nice. Nice to me is not what I experienced staying in the guest room at this hotel. The rooms need updating, the linen needs to be burned, and the hotel needs a facelift inside and out. I read the previous reviews and I must say my idea of nice is not the same as others. First of all I always pull back the covers and look at the sheets on the bed when I first enter a guest room. When I came here I pulled the covers back to find blood on the sheets. Disgusted, I called the front desk and housekeeping was sent to change the sheets. They stripped the bed, put on a new mattress pad and sheets, only to see those sheets were dirty and had to be taken off immediately. I went to sit at the desk to watch the whole process, and the desk top was dirty, sticky, & dusty. The shower did not drain well, felt like I need another shower after my shower. The room is dark, and the outlets are so old, i was afraid to plug in my charger, I thought I might get shocked. The whole week I felt traumatized! I was staying there with my employer for a conference and had to keep quiet about all the above. So, I was captive in a dirty, disgusting, time warp. The lobby and conference center has old brick walls inside and out. I was told marriott purchased the property from previous owner 5 yrs ago and put 15 million dollars into the hotel. So I can only imagine what it looked like before, although that's not much money for such a huge facility. So my suggestion is define what nice means to you first, if you are like me, choose another location!!!
