The hotel is situated in a nice part of the city and pretty central. The room prices were reasonable, the standard of the room was very high, the bathrooms were very nicely done. The staff were very friendly and helpful, I would stay here again.

right choise
we were here for a couple of times and enjoyed so much.first of all the one thing to mention is terrific breakfast, second - the convenient location close to main u-bahn stations and bus lines.The only weak point i've noticed is quality of wi fi connection

Excellent alternative for your stay in Berlin. Comfortable, quiet and very proper rooms.Main desk service is very friendly and attentive.Near to the B¿¿lowstrasse metro station which connects you to the entire Berlin.I will definitely stay at Lindemann's again in my next trip to Berlin

Liked it again
I recently stayed for the second time at this hotel and liked it very much the second time around, though I have some more remarks than the year before.Pro's: the very spacious room, with loads (loads!) of storage space. The bathroom is huge. And everything is spot on clean. I booked the basic room. No extra's, but still quite the bargain at about 40 euros a night. Cons: The wifi. I think in this day and age, it should be for free. At Lindemanns, it costs 10 euros for 72 hours (or 5 euros for one day), but the code you get for this only works on one device. So when you have to work on your laptop (as I did), you have to buy another code for your Iphone. I don't like this system at all! Also, the wifi was very slow from time to time. I complained about this and they compensated me without any hesitation. Also, the neighbourhood might be a bit too much out of the way for some people. But since I had to travel to Postdamer Platz mostly, this hotel was very well placed. Also, because there is a bus stop just in front of the hotel which takes you to Postdamer Platz in 10 minutes. If you buy a Kurzstrecke-ticket in the bus, this will cost you only 1,40! Another little tip: I booked the room through their own website, where you can easily get a lot of discount should you book early or stay for more than three nights. As an extra gift for booking with them directly, you get to choose a free drink. I chose the takeaway coffee. I would advise another drink, because the coffee which was said to be worth 5 euros tasted like it came from an simple coffee machine. But hey, it was a gift, so I'm not complaining too much about that.But overall, this is a very nice place for the budget traveller who can appreciate design hotels. I would go back. Definately.

GOOD HOTEL BUT COULD DO BETTER
Booked the hotel for a New Years break with three friends. Had to change booking a few weeks before and the hotel could not be more helpful. The entrance to the hotel was very inviting though a bit like a ghost ship with no one in the bar or taking coffee we couldn't understand why as it looked very nice. Then we saw the price of the drinks and understood!The bedroom was OK nothing to complain about, nothing to brag about either and the bathroom was excellent. So why wouldn't I stay there again?Everything seemed like a major effort for the staff. I asked for an iron on New Years Eve so I could iron a shirt before I went out. I was told I could only have the shirt ironed by the hotel but that there was no one around so they could not do it for me. I asked if I could borrow an iron and do it myself but was told it was against "Health and Safety Policy". I told them I was going out and really needed an iron - they could have cared less. Coffee once again had to be made by the hotel with no facilities in the room and their prices were crazy! There are long, long corridors to the rooms and one lift, which broke down when we were there so you need to take the stairs again the staff could have cared less. I have a heart condition so it was an issue for me.The area that the hotel is in is a little run down but perfectly safe. It was just a little more run down and seedier than I would have liked.I won't go back to this hotel again because there are better hotels for the same price or cheaper in better areas of Benin (Art Hotel - Warhol would be my hotel of choice) but it was the lack of amenities in the room and the "health and safety" issues and apathy of some of the staff (I would stress not all) that were the downside for me. By the way avoid the breakfast you can get better in a small cafe and pay less.
