Barcelo Corralejo Bay Adult Only Hotel, Fuerteventura.
Classified four star but a brilliant adult only four star plus at least. Just returned from two weeks all inclusive on 8th May.Hotel rooms excellent, staff brilliant and very helpful especially Marina and Paco. Food excellent and a lot of choice every day both in the Main Restaurant and the Pool Bar Restaurant. Pool area has two main pools - one heated - loads of sunbeds and always available - no one allowed into pool area until about 9:00am - brill - no 6:30 get up to reserve beds. Entertainment every night with different acts - some very good (a couple suspect but did deflect the enjoyment).Beach is 5 minutes away and the local "strip" full of restaurants and shops just "around the corner".Will definitely go there again.

Nearly a very good hotel
Our 2nd visit here in in 7 years and it is now a Barcelo adults only hotel,last visit it was the Bluebay Palace,this time some things better and some need some attention like the food,plenty of choice but not very warm and overcooked,the staff all very good,the rooms very nice,entertainment again some O.K. and some not very good,so called free wi-fi in the lobby only, and you get 30 mins per day very iffy and poor weak signal,so with a few tweeks this could be a really nice place for adults,the position of this hotel is was I rate as the best in Corralejo,sadly our visit this year,April, did not have the best weather and we had gone for 2 weeks,we had sun on about 4 days the rest cloudy,windy and cold,I have never seen so many people on a canary island holiday at this time of the year wearing jumpers, coats and big coats in the daytime let alone the night time,overall wont be going back to Fuerteventura for some time,but I would'nt say we would not stay here again,if and when we went back we would try it again,as long as Tripadvisor were still showing decent reviews.

First Time
Just returned from an excellent stay at this hotel. This was our first visit to this island and we were very pleased with our hotel selection. The hotel is quite a large complex in a horseshoe shape with the excellent swimming pool area located in the centre and easily accessable for all.Food was good and our only gripe was that the "hot breakfast" was not very hot but the evening meals were good quality and offered a good choice.We were allocated a first floor room on the back corner of the building and had a huge balcony which was covered in sunshine from early morning untill about 7pm. The room was big and facilities were excellent and kep very clean.Certainly a hotel we would recommend to everyone to try and you wont be disappointed.

second visit
Just returned from our second visit. This is our first time since it has changed to adults only, much more relaxing. Food was very good with plenty of choice for each course with food being cooked on the hotplates which means it is freshly cooked and hot. There is now tea and coffee facilities in all rooms which are replenished daily. If you wish to use the indoor pool it is now part of the wellness centre and will cost you 15 euros a day. I think all 4 star hotel should have free use of indoor pools. The safe is 3 euros a day. When you check in you will be asked for your credit/debit card details so they can charge any drinks or other extras to your card which is payable on departure. However if you prefer not to do this then just tell them you will pay cash. rooms cleaned daily, towels changed when required. very friendly staff.

Sunny and hot
What a super week in Correlejo.The weather was fantastic.The wind blew.,The sun shone with,blue skies all the way and capped by the stay at the Barcel¿¿.A lovely hotel;,very clean,,food was good and the staff excellent.I did not use the pool as I used the free shuttle bus to the beach but other clients said it was very good.Next time I stay I will take some gym equipment as they have a gym on site which looks Ok.Excellent hotel for anyone who likes the sand dune beaches as the free bus takes you their and also because of its close proximity to the bars and restaurants in the town centre.I did not have a room with a view although this is not an issue for me;if you require a view ask for a room with a poolside view.Rod
