All Redone!!
Needed to spend one night in the University area. Usually stay at another well know hotel chain, but the price is too high. Read in another review that the Red Roof was redone. It was!! This is the perfect place to stay, inexpensive, and the rooms are all redone!!

Very good
Red roof inn is in a good location (a fantastic location if your primary interest is University of Buffalo). The staff is helpful, the cleaning was done well, and the price is very affordable. We checked in around 2 am on a Friday morning, and the lady in the front desk was very courteous and helpful (as well as smiling). My only nitpick is the size of the bathroom, I wish it were a little bigger. However, we were two couples staying in the same room for under 100 bucks, so I can't complain.

Outstanding service
Check-in and check-out went very smoothly. The room was not cleaned one of the days. The front desk staff offered to clean the room but I just wanted fresh towels. The front desk staff was very apologetic. Upon check-out, I was told that I would not be charged for the one night because the room had not been cleaned. I was surprised, but thanked the front desk staff for the gesture. I have stayed here many times in the past and the staff is always friendly, pleasant and helpful. I have well-behaved dogs and they are welcome here as well. This is a very nice place to stay.

Outstanding!!
We stayed at the Red Roof Buffalo on April 14th, and we were very very pleased. We asked for a first floor right off the parking lot since my husband has a bad back (walks with a cane) and we knew we would be driving for hours and he would be in pain. They went out of their way and got us an ADA room which was wonderful! It was spacious and well appointed. The bathroom was large and easy to maneuver in, and the bed was superior. After we got settled in the room, the front desk called and asked if everything was to our liking and if they could do anything for us!!! Fancy hotels that I've stayed in when I was working never did that (and those for 3 times the price often offered mold and other un-pleasantries). It was a pleasure to stay at this Red Roof --- clean, quiet and very comfortable and for under $60.00. It was perfect for two old travelers!!!

An excellent value and stay for a very reasonable rate
We stayed for one night on April 21/13The Good: I got a prepaid rate of $60 + tax. The rooms are completely re-done - new everything (except for tub and toilet). Beds are comfy and the linens are a nice quality - Ive had worse sheets at far more upscale hotels. Parked 10 feet from our room. Nice and quiet - heard nothing from adjoining rooms - and the hotel was quite full. Everything you need for shopping/food is a 5-10 min drive away.The Bad: the windows open but have no screens, if security is an issue for you, you can't leave them open at night (because this hotel is only 2 levels) We needed the a/c on full-blast - it did a okay job but I'm betting in the middle of summer this could be a problem. The lobby is hard to find - a larger "LOBBY" sign and a nice big welcoming pot of flowers would be a good addition. No food on site (except vending), but there's a nice buffet breakfast a 5-min walk next door at the Marriott, or there's an IHOP/Bob Evans and a few others a 5-min. drive away. A few more hairs in the bathroom than I would like to see but this is my pet-peeve about all hotels, even the Ritz and Four Seasons can't seem to get rid of all of them.You get a brand new room, nice and quiet, free parking, free wi-fi, at a crazy-cheap price. What more can you ask for? I'd most definitely stay here again.
