We stayed here before our flight in April and had a wonderful time. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. We ordered room service and though a little pricey it was very nice. We had an executive room (I believe that's what it was called, it was more expensive than the normal room without being a club level room). The room was big and very tastefully decorated. I would certainly recommend this hotel to others wanting somewhere a little luxurious before or after a flight. It was a little way from Gatwick but right by Crawley leisure park if you didn't want to eat in the hotel. A taxi to the airport cost ¿¿13. We chose to do this rather than wait for the shuttle (for which you also had to pay for). We travel from gatwick often and will certainly return.

Stayed here with my wife recently for one night before flying out of Gatwick the next morning.Because our trip was a special occasion (our honeymoon) we wanted a slightly nicer than average hotel but primarily one that had parking included and had decent on site facilities (pool, restaurant etc.)We arrived early in the afternoon and having a booked a room on the hotel's "club floor" we were directed to the dedicated Club Check In Desk (aid out like a first class check in at an airport.) This 'exclusive' service was slightly bizarre as we were the only guests in all of reception at the time, but it felt nice. No porter service was included in the club service which was a bit disappointing as we had numerous large and heavy bags. This was exacerbated when we learned to get to the club floor you need to take a lift to the fifth floor, cross the building then get another lift to the sixth floor. A hassle with lots of luggage!The room on arrival was essentially the same size (guess) as a normal room but the floor and room had a nice upmarket decor and feel and the bathroom was exceedingly nice. There were also wide ranging views from the window. Slightly disappointed to find no extras as standard in the room such as complimentary soft drinks or premium channels (sport/movies) on the TV. However the staff had left some chocolate dipped strawberries and a handwritten card to congratulate us on our marriage on the bed. A genuinely lovely touch.Following a long drive we proceeded to dump our bags and head for the leisure club. Pretty standard hotel leisure club to be honest. Small gym, sauna, steam room and a small to medium sized pool and hot-tub. Facilities were well maintained and conveniently located. The pool was small but easily big enough to allow a relaxing float about whilst a couple of other guests did laps.Following this we then went to the 'Club Lounge'. This is a contained lounge area (with specific key card access) that only club room guests can use. It is essentially the same as a train station first class lounge. Seating for about 30 at different tables, complimentary soft drinks and papers with TVs offering rolling news coverage. In the evening at 7pm however there are some complimentary alcoholic beverages and canapes laid on. This is a nice idea but doesn't really work too well. The problem is every club guest (including us) descends for the freebies and there isn't enough seating. The canapes were extremely small in number and frankly not very nice. You can have more than one drink but don't expect an all inclusive level of service. The club Lounge either needs to knock this 'happy hour' on the head or offer it all the time. Putting it all in an hour or two just creates a rush.We proceeded to eat in The Cube restaurant. service was quick and reasonably professional. The menu seemed to be one that changes daily and had a nice selection. The standard was what I would call good chain restaurant quality. Nothing top class but better than a bar and perfectly tasty. Prices were very reasonable.We then retired to our room and had an excellent night's sleep in what were very comfortable beds.Parking if headed to the airport was very simple. On departure we simply handed over our car key having told them what number space we were in and of we went. A shuttle bus (¿¿3:50 charge) to both terminals at Gatwick runs from the hotel every 20 minutes and was easy to use.On return after 10 nights our car was fine and we simply claimed our key and off we went.We paid ¿¿139 for our room on the club floor and this included 10 nights parking. Having sen other prices advertised I feel we got a bit of a bargain! It may seem like I've put a few niggles i the review but overall we enjoyed staying at this hotel. Service was fine, facilities quite good and despite the issues with the Club Lounge it is a nice area to have at your disposal, especially I imagine if you're a business traveller.If we'd paid considerably

Stayed for 1 night with my family after returning to the UK on a very late night flight. The transfer on the bus from the North Terminal was quick and hassle free and upon arriving at the hotel, we were dealt with quickly and efficiently by the reception team. The room was quite far away from the reception and through long corridors, but wow, what a room when we got there. A fantastic room with a cot all ready for our daughter. Despite being 1.00am, we were able to enjoy a hot shower and finally get some sleep in a very comfortable bed complete with pillow spray. We awoke to then have a great hot breakfast in the restaurant and then a 2 hour journey home. Thank you to the staff for making this a great end to what was a fantastic family holiday, we will definately be back if flying in or out of Gatwick!

I stayed for two nights in Crowne Plaza Crawley. This hotel has a good gym with a nice swimmimg pool. The room was quite big for the english standards. Very clean. The staff was frindly and ready to help...

Booked a Club Room for my partners birthday, room was fabulous with plenty of space. Bathroom had a wonderful shower and a tv in the wall at the end of the bath. Arrived to a tiny box of chocolates and a birthday card in the room for him. Club lounge was a little disappointing, the bar selection was limited (we were both after a rum and coke.....no rum!) and only 2 types of bland canap¿¿s with small bowls of tortilla chips but no dips so they were quite dry. Breakfast in the lounge was nice although more selection would have been nice. Overall....loved the room, disappointed with the Club Lounge.
