Incorrect Room, Frustrating WiFi, Good Location
Booked & paid on the hotels website for an executive room overlooking the courtyard with free wifi. Arrived to the hotel after 23:00 on a Friday night, went to the room & thought it was quite average, got comfortable then realised wifi needed a log in and it said there was a charge. Got re-dressed, went to reception and was told there was a charge, to which I corrected I booked with free wifi, this was ok and I got a code. The wifi was patchy, often dropping out, but good for a free service.After getting into bed I realised that whilst I'd paid for a quiet room I was in fact on the street. Too tired to bother that night, first thing the next morning I complained about this. After about 5-10 minutes I was given the key to another room which was what I originally booked. A lovely new executive room which I could not hear any traffic at all. Unfortunately was not offered any compensation or refund for my one night in a cheaper style room.The executive room was comfortable, spacious & quiet as expected. Location wise the hotel is right near the Ubahn station Burggasse-Stadthalle and therefore incredibly easy to get around the city. I would probably choose to stay here again, although would first look elsewhere considering I was placed in a cheaper room than I had paid for.

We have stayed in the hotel at the beginning of April. We stayed in the new rennovated building which is 40 m away from the main. We liked everything: from location to the room itself. We had very good breakfast with both hot and cold dished, very friendly staff and the room was very big, new, with large terrace in front of the room and only we have access to it. It is 3 minutes from Ubahn Staddhalle and bus stop. 10 minutes walk from westbanhof. I would reccommend certainly this hotel to my friends and stay there every time visiting Vienna. Regards,Leyla

Conveniently located hotel, excellent breakfast spread
The hotel is a few minutes' ride by UBahn from the Westbahnhof, and is right next to a super-mart. The surrounding neighbourhood is not particularly well-lit, and feels a tad eerie post sun-down. The rooms are spacious and clean, with well maintained bath and toilet. The air-conditioning could have been more efficient, as even the early mid-June summer heat made for some uncomfortable nights.The front desk staff are polite and efficiently helpful.The breakfast spread is excellent, and manned by smiling, courteous staff.Paid Wi-Fi was a disappointment in a hotel of this category.

Nice hotel
The hotel was very comfortable and quite clean compared to the other hotels we had seen. The biggest issue is the neighborhood in which the hotel is located in. Even though it is close to Westbahnhof, the surrounding neighborhood is quite sketchy. Other than that fact everything about this hotel was great. The breakfast was the best we had in Europe, the hotel was quite clean, the staff was helpful and courteous to us, and we overall enjoyed our stay here. I plan on coming back to this hotel since they impressed me.

Not Bad
I lived here for three nights during my stay in Vienna in December 2012. Overall, it wasn't a bad choice. I booked it on Hotwire, and it was so affordable that only $50/night. However, I was skeptical about its neighborhood safety after reading some reviews online. I made it to Vienna around 8pm and found the hotel located in a quite busy neighborhood. It's not in the center of the city, but I believe it's safe enough to live and walk around. There is a mall next to the hotel, which turned out to be surprisingly helpful! I bought my converter, water and fruits there. Several restaurants around the hotel, and one Asian restaurant is decent. Subway station is only two blocks away, and only about 10 minutes to downtown Vienna. The room is clean enough, I believe, and quite new. They charge a fee for internet, but if you are not super thirsty for getting online and willing to pay out of your own pocket, they have ONE computer available at the lobby, and everyone can use it. I would suggest to bring your own converter with you, if possible. I was trying to borrow one from the hotel, but they have basically converter to every European country except Austria...So I ended up buying one. It's not too bad, either, about 10 Euros.
