nice business hotel next to Brno exhibition ground
Holiday Inn Brno is nice business hotel. Is is very conveniently located next to exhibition ground. The hotel restaurant was pleasant surprise, the food was superb. However, I can find some negative sides. First, it is quite expensive, I mean everything, room rate, parking, hotel restaurant, you must even pay for internet connection (in these days!, we are not in early years of new millenium anymore). Second, during my stay there was always strange whistling sound coming probably from water pipe. In conclusion, it is nice hotel, in my opinion one of the best in exhibition ground neighbourhood, but it is costly.

Lovely room and wonderful service
Arrived at the property late and tired from a long drive. Was greeted at the entrance by a Bell Hop who proceeded to unload the luggage from our vehicle and take it into the hotel while I checked in. Once he verified the room we were checking into, he immediately took the luggage directly to the room while I continued the check-in process. The entrance and reception area are decorated very tastefully and feel warm and welcoming. The staff, though they did not speak much English, were very accommodating and ready to please. Our room had two twin beds and a pull out bed. All of them slept quite comfortably. The bathroom was roomy, though the blow dryer and towels were lacking. Room service was quick, the food was excellent and the serving sizes quite large. Two of us ordered from the children's menu and one ordered a salad. The food was brought in on a table and set up for us. Once we finished, we rolled the table into the hallway. Overall, we were very pleased with the property, the location and the service.

Average hotel
I travel regularly to Brno and I am usually staying at another hotel, but since that was fully booked, I had to stay in the Holiday Inn.It is very far from the city centre (25 minutes walk), but taxis will bring you for 100czk. Wireless internet is free if you are satisfied with a very slow connection. A faster connection will set you back an incredible 490czk (=20¿¿¿) for a couple of hours. That is not of this age anymore. A terrible rip off. Break fast is very poor. Orange juice tastes more like water than oranges. Rooms are clean, but very basic and you can tell that the hotel is not very young anymore. My conclusion: not a bad hotel, but you can get much better than that.

Great, no problems.
Not in the centre of Brno and not much around it. Rooms are very comfortable and well equipped in your standard "multi national corporate hotel" style. The wifi is a bit hit and miss and would not work in the room on my ipad but would on he laptop. It is a severely restricted service though unless you wish to pay.The food in the restaurant was very good although very expensive for the region. Service all around was very good, breakfast was good as a standard buffet arrangement.The rooms are very well insulated for sound and overall allow a peaceful nights rest. The only slight down side is the poor selection of TV channels, those that were available were all in Czech so take your own entertainment if you do not speak Czech and tend to relax on your room like me.Overall very good.

A good standard of hotel
I stayed here for one night on business travel. Compared to many other hotels I have stayed in, this was of a good standard, better than I had expected. The reception staff were very helpful and courteous. The food menu in teh bar was a little limited and I did not want to eat a big meal in the restaurant, but the service was prompt and efficient, if not overly friendly. The room was well appointed and comfortable. For business travel I would certainly stay here again.
