My wife and I used this hotel for a morning flight from Glasgow Airport. We got a good room rate but I was a bit taken aback to be charged ¿¿4 to park my car overnight in the hotel car park before taking it to the long stay in the morning! The room was nice and big as was the bed - there was even an easy chair. The shower room was OK but the only curtain on the window was a net one. It took some time to work out that the curtain was actually a sliding mirror which in our room had come off the track and wouldn't close. Coupled with the fact that the double glazing didn't keep out the motorway noise we certainly didn't need an alarm call or sleep in. On the positive side, we had a very nice dinner!

Went for the weekend as I have family in the area, Paisley. My wife called ahead to ask since we were going to be early that if our room would be ready, check in is 2pm and we would be there at 1pm. We told by two people who work for Ramada/Mercure that, that would be fine. Got to the Hotel and the girl behind the desk was perhaps the most unhelpful person working in the industry I have ever come across. She intimated that we were lying about calling ahead as she said "If you had called at 1pm, you would have spoke to me and I didnt speak to you". We tried to show her the number we called but she didnt want to know. The rooms were not ready and no apology was made, if anything we were liars to her. I wish I had grabbed her name. All the staff displayed a attitude that they simply didnt want to be there and they didnt want to help you. Unhelpful and basically rude. In the midst of this I have to admit that the girl who was pregnant doing the breakfasts was fantastic and was honestly an Oasis in a dessert of Unhelpful and rude staff. My message to them is, I wont be back and your staff are honestly shocking.

We have stayed at this hotel many times before early morning flights. Always enjoyed our stays.This time though, we got the airport bus from Glasgow, and once we got to the airport, phoned the Ramada for a pick up. We were very surprised when the hotel said they no longer did this and we would have to get a taxi. Taxi was not happy to take us on such a short journey, but to walk is a bit dangerous in my opinion. Seems that someone decided that most people required the shuttle from 4.00am until 12 noon. So you won't get the shuttle bus outwith these hours.I wish they had told us that at the time of booking and we would have tried elsewhere. So just be aware of this when booking.

We just had a one night stay here before an early morning flight from Glasgow. I can therefore only comment on the rooms and not the breakfast as we left the hotel before breakfast was served. Everything was in order with our booking and we were checked in by a very helpful and friendly receptionist. The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was equally clean (save for a few black mould marks on some of the tile grout) with a nice powerful shower. The only negative was not the fault of the hotel but of the other guest making noise in the corridors in the early hours.

Dear sir/madam I recently stayed at Ramada hotel Glasgow Airport on 19th April 2013 for the first time and probably the last! We were booked into a family room which cost us ¿¿32.50 bargain for one night! I had booked this a week before we arrived. When we got to our room 323 the room was not very clean not amused especially with my daughter of a year old! The shower tiles were quite dirty, when I pulled the mirror at the window shut it was really marked with previous hand prints, when we were closing the sofa bed up there was a empty fruit shoot bottle and rubbish behind the bed again from previous guests! All very simple things to clean up. The remote control had no back on it so my daughter had managed to get the batteries out of it which is really not acceptable if she had put them into her mouth! I am a head housekeeper myself so these things I notice straight away and if any of my staff had left these things in a bedroom I'm afraid there would be trouble it's not on! We found that because it cost us ¿¿32.50 we were given a rubbish bedroom and that shouldn't be the case if that is what the rate is at the time well no one should be treated any different I know that myself. I could not complain at the time as it was too busy but even after two emails of complaint still no one has replied! Certainly won't be returning whether it's ¿¿32 or less!
