Great base for a LAX stop over
We stayed 2 nights at the Manhattan Marriott; it's a favourite hotel that we stay at regularly for a number or reasons. 1. the windows open; no nasty airconditioned rooms. 2. great location near good restaurants, shopping, beaches, and minutes from LAX. 3. friendly, professional staff. The beds are very comfortable and my request for extra pillows and towels was met before we even checked in. Lovely spacious rooms and fabulous view of the golf course and the distant night views of Palos Verdes. The honking geese didnt detract from the peace and quiet; it was all rather charming. My only gripe; no outdoor furniture on what was a large deck and was unable to be enjoyed in the afternoon sun.

Full service lodging in Manhattan Beach/El Segundo.
Stay here frequently on business. This is the only full service hotel in the Manhattan Beach/ El Segundo area. The Manhattan beach Marriott has been going thru a wonderful transformation with continuous upgrades to the property. The staff has always been polite and accommodate requests when able. Rooms are standard Marriott fare and are clean, updated and accommodating. Bathrooms have been remodeled with the tubs removed and replaced with nicely tiled showers. (If you want a room with a tub, request that in advance) Paid Wireless internet is available as so is wired which is appreciated and getting harder to find when travelling these days. the only very minor negative in the room is no HD on the new large flat screen TV. I assume that is in the works.The lobby lounge is a great place to have a snack or solo dinner and it and staff provide a warm atmosphere. The Concierge lounge is well managed and also a great place for a pre dinner snack and unwinding from a busy day. The paid parking garage is secure, safe and connected to the lobby. The Manhattan beach shopping center is nearby and many upscale dining venues are a very short walking distance. If you golf.. they have a nice course connected right to the hotel. Will I return? Of course!

Fabulous Stay!!!
Stayed here Easter week with my family of four from NJ and loved it. Location was great for all the beach cities, LAX and even Hollywood!Clean and well ran. Staff was so friendly and helpful!I hope we have reason to stay here again!!!

Convenient Location
Stayed for one night while visiting friends in Manhattan Beach. Nicely appointed. Close to shopping center, airport and beaches. Beach is not in walking distance. Property backs up to urban golf course. Rooms are comfortable and basic.

Stayed for Business, would definitely return
This is a very pretty, updated, lovely Marriott. Compared to the one down the road by LAX; this is a zillion times better! I Stayed for business and would definitely return. Very short drive to the beach area, restaurants & LAX. he hotel staff was friendly and helpful but I did have to ask housekeeping to come up to my room upon check in & clean something yucky off of the toilet :( I liked that they offered cookies at check in & had water with fruit in it, around the lobby & hotel for guests to enjoy. Nice overall amenities, good water pressure & a comfortable bed. All in all I thought it was a great value for the area. **Remember to keep your key if you parked in the garage; you will need it to exit after checking out.
