It's just like most Courtyards, but the people are special
I usually stay at the El Segundo Courtyard because it is close to LAX, but I am visiting customers in Torrance, so chose this Courtyard instead. It is pretty much undistinguishable from the El Segundo Courtyard (which is not a bad thing), but 2 people working there make it special. Patricia and Dean work most nights in the Bistro, and they are the stars of this Courtyard. They are friendly, efficient and just wonderful people. Congratulations to Courtyard on hiring these 2 stars!

Marriott consistency
This was my first stay at this Marriott for business. I'm glad my company sent me here because I know I will get the consistency of good service. The lobby appears to be newly renovated. The room was what I expected of a Marriott Courtyard - clean and comfortable. I will be staying here frequently and will give an update in a couple months. The beach seaside restaurants are 15 to 20 minutes away. For LA, this hotel is still considered close to the airport.

Affordable close to LA
This hotel is in a good spot if you have meeting in beach cities or LA. Only 20 minutes to downtown after rush hour and 20 to 40 to other beach cities south of LA. When on an expense account budget staying in LA can be challenging. This hotel fit the bill. The service was great from front desk to attendants behind the counter at dinner and happy hour. Leave your car at front door until you check in because there are entrances all around the property that will make it easier to get your luggage in and out. Redondo Beach is minutes away a straight shot on 190th so taking a break for dinner or a walk is easy. I will stay again.

Weekend Trip
stayed here back in December for a quick weekend get away and this turned out to be actually a very nice courtyard! Wouldn't mind staying here again! For the price I nailed on Expedia it was well worth the money spent!

Better Than Average
I had a pleasant stay here. The hotel was located right off the highway and easy to find with the GPS. Plenty of free parking right at the door. The check-in staff were super friendly and efficient and everything went smoothly. The only small problems were 1) Some Courtyards offer free breakfast for Gold Members; this one doesn't and 2) this hotel did not have a room safe which I feel is essential. The rate was fine and the room was neat, spacious, quiet and clean. Not a lot of choice for restaurants in the immediate are but they are only a short drive away.
