convenient location, low cost
This is an old school motel. The price was very reasonable for the location, it backs up to Congress Park which is a great place to go for a walk. Also right on the edge of downtown, easy walking distance to everything. The first weekend we stayed there, the room had matching antique dressers, table and vanity. Kind of cool. The second room we stayed in had matching "vintage" furnishings circa 1960. All in all, it is not a bad place to stay for a night or a weekend.

A very convenient location
This is an old, old motel. Some of the rooms have been redone, others are very outdated. It is very conveniently located & within easy walking distance of restaurants & shops. The staff tries hard but seem overworked & harried. The coffee is good, but the breakfast is sometimes meager. However, Dunkin Donuts is just down the street. This hotel is usually the cheapest in the area, especially during peak tourist times. We've stayed there several times and find it to be fine if we really just need a convenient place to sleep. I'm sure we'll be back.

Walking distance to the racetrack
Stay here only if you want a hotel that is walking distance to the racetrack or downtown Saratoga that is afforable. Many hotels that are downtown or walking distance to the track charge $500+ for rooms around racetime. Hotel is outdated, but fun. Many patrons of the hotel hang outside their rooms around dusk so there is sort of a party atmosphere. Pets are welcomed here as well. Rooms are small, very outdated, need some work, but OK if you are only going to spend time in the room sleeping. About 5-6 blocks to the racetrack.

No. Just No.
It might be possible that there is nothing positive to say about this motel besides its location. First of all, for what it was, there was no value to this motel at all. I would rather camp at Lee's for $30 than stay at that place again. The motel itself is super-dated. The room smells musty and the decor has not been changed since the 80s I imagine. This is seriously even more basic than your most basic motel. The room is small and the bed is uncomfortable. The shower ::shudders:: this was the worst part. It was moldy and decrepit. It kept filling up to the point of overflowing! We had to get a maintenance man in there and it still kept filling up. It was so disgusting. I would wear flippies, get clean quick, and get out as quick possible. If you are going in the summer, be prepared to look for parking elsewhere because the spots fill up fast. In conclusion, stay away from this place! It's like they are purposely rude and don't keep up with maintenance in the motel to keep people away. It's the strangest thing.

RUN DON'T WALK!!!
The staff there is told by the owner Kevin to be mean to guests. He resides in 114. He is always showing up drunk. They do house social services people. Some of which are not the best. The owners friend Mike who stays in 103 is known to turn your cable off if they don't like you. Mickey and Marty in the office are real pieces of work. You'll see if you stay. Oh and don't look at the mattresses. You'll see the bugs and the stains. Gross!!!!
