Quick stop over
We stopped over for the night at the Hilton on Friday and thought it was very pleasant. Everything was very clean, and the staff were polite. Loved the rainforest shower, would much rather a good shower than a room with a bath when doing short visits! The breakfast was also very nice, good variety of food on offer

Great night's sleep before my wedding
We stayed here the night before my wedding at Islington Town Hall. I got a very good rate for the suite in the January sale, which gave us a huge space to get ready in. For ¿¿135 including breakfast we got a very deal for a Friday night in Islington, and the proximity to the Town Hall meant we could walk to the ceremony. My Best Man, an usher and a number of guests also stayed here.Reception were very friendly and helpful when we explained why we were staying here, including letting us drive up to the door to drop off suits and other wedding stuff. Breakfast the next morning was plentiful, exactly what we needed. Having the suite to get ready in alongside my four ushers was very handy, much more space than a normal hotel room and so much better than doing it in separate rooms. The only niggle was the slightly creepy music that is on the TVs when you first check into the rooms. I don't really see the point of this and leaving every TV on throughout the hotel for when people check in must waste a lot of electricity. Other than that we were very happy with our stay, although the prices outside of the sale are a bit steep.

Brand new, quiet and very comfortable
We must have been some of the first guests in the hotel as there is the fresh smell of new construction in the halls and some work still going on in the hotel. Regardless, the room was fantastic, really comfortable, great bathroom/shower and excellent amenities. We had breakfast one morning, normal standard for a Hilton hotel but of course, with the Hilton price-tag - so you can take it or leave it.

Decent stay
I stayed here on Monday 29 April whilst in London on business. Check in was very smooth and efficient and the reception staff took the time to explain that renovations where taking place between 9am and 6pm, although this did not bother me at all. I was given one of the already renovated rooms and it was very comfortable and clean with an excellent TV. The heating was controlled from within the room which was also very good because I always find hotel rooms to warm so I was able to adjust the heating. I had dinner in the restaurant and it was also very good, although, as with all hotels I'm afraid, it was expensive for what it was. The breakfast on Tuesday morning was, though, only average in my opinion.The staff in the hotel are excellent. I would recommend this hotel for a one or two night business stay, although next time I might be tempted to venture into Islington for dinner.

Great hotel
This hotel was lovely. I was given a newly refurbished room. I was woken earlier by drilling. This wasnt a problem as I was here for work, but would have been annoyed had a I been here for a leisure break. There are no leisre facilities, which would be nice. Breakfast is very good and was included in my rate. A good selection of cooked and continental. However, make sure you get there in plenty of time. You must have everything you want by 10 as thy draw a curtain around the food. Staff very friendy and polite, but wifi is not complimentary, ¿¿15 for 24 hours.
