Nice hotel but a little annoying
I stayed here for one night as I had an early flight from Brussels the next morning, I usually stay at the Holiday Inn Brussels airport but I got a good price so I decided to give hte Crowne Palza a tryFirst the good pointsIt is really close to the airportThe interior of the hotel and rooms are beautifulThe staff are really welcoming and friendlyBreakfast is great, loads of choice and freshly cookedNow the bad pointsThe hotel is in the middle of nowhere with no other amenities within walking distance apart from a NovotelThe restaurant is not open weekends, even though I stayed on a Friday night it the only place to eat was in the bar, which has a reduced menu, I understand that this is mainly a week day business hotel but the hotel seemed pretty busy with a few large tour groups staying that Friday night and the bar area was full, people were sitting in the foyer and ordering food because there was no room in the bar and it was obviuos that the two barstaff could not cope, I am pretty sure that they had enough people staying that night to make opening the restaurant worthwhile, maybe they should review that policy. I did not want to eat in the foyer so I worked doen the road 5 minutes to the Novotel where they had a buffet service in the restaurant, 22 euros for as much as you could, it was excellent with a huge selection of food really well preparedIt costs 22 euros for wireless internet and they also charge for parking in their own carpark, seriously, if IHG don't sort this out soon and stop trying to squeeze money out of me for services that they should provide for free I will stop staying at the their hotels. I can understand parking charges at a city centre hotel but this hotel is in the middle of a business estate in the middle of nowhere and 22 euros for internet is shocking.

Very close to airport
This hotel is a very short (5-10min) drive from the airport, for those who have quick meetings, and need to be on their way again soon.I was only there for one night, but the service was great.The hotel has an airport shuttle which runs frequent enough (every 15-30min if I remember correctly).Checking in was quick, easy, and hassle free.The room was neat, clean, and comfortable.The receptionist was helpful - my colleague and I wanted to squeeze in at at least one "must see", and were given the option to take the bus or train into town. The bus stop is diagonally across the hotel, but we opted for a 20min walk to the train station, to get in as much of Brussels, given the short stay. The bus is also available to the train station.

Great airport hotel
Rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. Airport is a mere 5 minute, free shuttle ride away. Somewhat pricey. Breakfast is 22 Euros. Overall, if you are looking for a slightly more upscale airport hotel either before or after a long flight, this is worth considering.

Really nice place to stay close to the airport
I get booked into this hotel because our Brussels office is over the road in the Corporate Village. There's a free shuttle bus that runs very frequently between the Village and the airport very close by. This is an airport hotel, but you'd never know it until you go outside. The quality of sound proofing is very high. I've been coming here for years yet the rooms always look new. The bathrooms are of a very high specification, plenty of shower pressure and the designer clearly understands the needs of wet shavers and contact lens wearers. The beds are incredibly comfortable but could do with some better quality pillows. The office set up for business traveler is also very good with an excellent quality chair. The only criticism I have (and something I'm looking out for now) is like many places a lack of power points for chargers. There was only one at the desk and I found another by the bed under the integrated table. Breakfast was really good, though not really worth the 22Eu flat charge. Couldn't there be a lower charge for the continental eaters? Wifi was excellent coverage and a good speed, but for 22Eu it had to be so. Of all the places I stay this is one of the most expensive for connectivity, something which is becoming so essential in our daily lives.
