Hopefully and isolated experience
I have to say that the Maldron has a wonderful breakfast spread every morning for a reasonable price (only 10 Euro). Which is really unheard of in Europe for that price. When walking into the hotel it is a feeling of something very modern and sleek. The rooms are spacious but are missing a lot of the basic necessities of a four star hotel. First off, I have never stayed at a 3, 4, or 5 star hotel that does not have bathroom toiletries. Yes, there is a Dove Shampoo and Conditioner attached to the wall in the bathroom but they do not provide you with any soap. The hand soap is attached to the wall next to the sink and there was no way you can take it to the shower. I often stay in a hotel in a European country at least once a month and this is the first time I have ever encountered something like this. Also, I did not have very good encounters with the staff. Vivienne was amazing and she did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable, I wish I could say that the other employees did the same.

Relaxing experience at the Maldron
We started our tour of Ireland with 4 nights at the Maldron Hotel. They have a wonderful, relaxing facility. The staff was excellent and helped us with finding restaurants, the Hop On Hop Off Bus, etc. Their restaurant served excellent food and the fitness center was large with every kind of equipment we needed. We would happily return to the Maldron.

Great hotel
We stayed here recently staff really friendly and ready to help, it was my mothers birthday and they even left card and bowl of fruit in room for her -lovely touch that was completely unexpected.Great location and easy to find. Will be staying here again. Room nice, big and modern and facilitated 3 sharing which is great.

Perfect location and top quality
The Maldron Hotel, Cardif Lane, Dublin:This is a really excellent Hotel, very well priced and so convenient for either the Point Theatre or the Bord Gais Theatre. Also the managers and staff were so so friendly and helpful. The newly refurbished and spacious lobby area is bright and welcoming and I loved that there were three elevators - so little waiting around. Rooms are really good quality, quite large and airy and very well fitted out, with usual Iron, iron board, tea/coffee kettle in room, Internet available through the TV; extra supplies if required and good closet space. Very efficient and quick room service also. We enjoyed a two-course pre-theatre dinner in the fine dining room for only ¿¿¿20 and once again, the waiting staff and managers were so friendly and made us feel really at home. Even reminding us when it was time for us to leave for the theatre (which, by the way is so conviently located just across the street. How good is that for handiness.) Shopping areas are only a short walk down the quays.I had the pleasure of a short chat with one of their managers - Martin - who a mine of information and advised us on what was on in the area and how to get to our onward destination, through the maze of one-way streets. Couldn't have been more helpful.So, when in this part of Dublin city, this is the place to stay.

Good hotel
We liked the hotel. Clean nice room and bathroom There is free wifi everywhere. Our room was at the end of the hallway so it was very quiet. The area is newer and is clean. It is about 20 minute walk to the city center along the river Liffey. That did not bother us but it is something to consider if you are not a walker. The bus from and to the airport stops across the river. We just crossed the bridge and the hotel is right there. We enjoyed our stay. The staff is friendly and helpful.
