Basic but clean and comfortable
Stayed on the first floor and was able to just about eek the wifi from the lobby since there is only wifi in public areas. Friendly staff, great location and the pub attached is great. Would definitely recommend this for someone who is budget conscious but still wants quality. Would come back again for sure. Staff were able to print out boarding passes for us since there was no printer. I read reviews about noise from partyers but we ARE in Temple Bar and thought I heard some partying late at night it wasn't that loud and didn't disturb me and if I were younger I would have been out there with them. :)

blooming late nights
no doubt when you book you realise this hotel is that this hotel is in the heart of Temple Bar, if you don't know what Temple Bar is then better to find a quiet little place in Sandymount. But if you do know then firstly don't get a first floor room and never ever get room 118 which is over the entrance of the hotel nightclub, club being the correct term " club hitting a drum". the staff are charming, the rooms cofortable, the breakfast standard and the bar/pub is great craic. Anyway I did know and still would have stayed for the good times.

2nd stay - perfect for central Dublin
Olympia Theatre is very close by and we went there for a concert. I had stayed in Blooms before so booked again. We had a good large room. E62 on hotel website, great value for central Dublin. Can't fault the hotel room. The Hotel seemed to be very quiet , not sure if there were many guests staying, which suited us fine. Had a few drinks in bar before going to the concert. Normal Dublin prices - over a fiver for a pint, for example. Came back to hotel later, and the price increased at 11pm (obviously to pay for the singer who was there) - up to E6.20 !! Bar shut at 11.30 pm on the dot and we could not get another drink ! Even at the inflated prices, we would have liked another one to unwind after the night out! I would stay again as it is good value and very central.

great location
This is a perfect location if you want to be in the middle of the party action of Dublin. Reasonably priced too. It is also near all the shopping areas too. Best of all it is in temple Bar area where all the action is!!

Fab. stay
I stayed at this hotel with my husband over the weekend just gone. Male receptionist looked after me so well. He was very good at check-in and gave us a lot information about local surroundings. The hotel was really easy to find. Check-in was great. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast on the Sunday was busy, but no problems there and the breakfast was perfect. The rooms are really clean, great, quiet & Very comfort. It's a really spacious hotel. VAT house was great..live music was fab. Sean, Elish & Kris were very helpful and fantastic. All I can say is book this hotel and give it a go. Whenever we will back in Dublin again, I will book Blooms again. I can't say enough good things about the property or it's management and team.
