The hotel was at capacity, and although there were many new staff at the front desk they were extremely friendly and helpful once you were there in front of them in person. The telephone service was terrible, multiple redirects and holds when you would try to call reception. I was caught in Brussels during the baggage handlers strike, so without the main part of my luggage. Concierge was very helpful in directing me to the shops I needed. Took a day trip to Briges and Gent, it was so worth it. Hotel room was modern and comfortable, but not as good as the lemeridien in paris. The hotel is in a great location.I would visit again.

Close to everything needed. Trains. Parks. Restaurants. Chocolates. Waffles. Bars.
Had a wonderfully updated suite that overlooked the square. Rooms and common area were clean and smelled fresh. The staff was very friendly and the concierge very helpful with directions and recommendations. Various subway and street trains were within walking distance which made it easy to get around the city. The rooms had dark curtains which made it eat to sleep and the hotel was very quite. It was a wonderful hotel to stay in.

Gem in the heart of it all
Clean, friendly, and soft beds. Not what you typically find in Europe. After a week in Paris, we love our decision to stay here and visit the city. The Grand Place is beautiful and right out the back door of the Hotel. Restaurants are everywhere and the city tour bus starts down the block.

Perfect location, high standard
+ Location. In city center and right next to a train station+ Luxurious+ Reception staff friendly+ Good quality internet (though fairly expensive)+ Room service quick and food well prepared+ Apples available at the bar (if all one needs is a small b'fast)- No power sockets at the bed side and slightly off the working desk

Excellent Location, Nice Hotel
I only stayed here one night, but it is a great hotel. The location is extremely convenient to lots of sites, shops, and restaurants. The hotel staff was very warm, friendly, and very efficient. The rooms were large and clean. There was plenty of space to spread out and fit our luggage. The toilet is in a separate location from the shower which actually made getting ready easier. Both the toilet & bathroom were large and clean. The only complaint is that the water didn't really maintain a constant temperature. The bed was clean and comfortable and the extra amenities are always a nice touch at a Le Meridien. I would 100% stay here again.
