Nice hotel, small beds
I stayed here for 2 nights at the start of May 2013 and was quite happy with my stayAs I am a member of the Priority Club, check-in was easy and everything was ready for me when I got to the deskI had booked a standard room and was given a twin room on the 4th floorThe room was nice, the standard Holiday Inn bedroom and cleanMy only problem with the room was that it had 2 small single beds rather than a double or 2 doubles and the matresses were a bit softThe rooms had the Holiday Inn pillow menu, which is always good and a large flat screen TVOverall this was a typical "new Holiday Inn hotel" with helpful staff, nice rooms and really nice lobby and public areasI would recommend this hotel to people flying from Gatwick and planning to go to Central London or Croydon by train from Gatwick AirportThere is a shuttle from Gatwick Airport to this hotel (¿¿3 one-way), which runs every 10-15 min through the day and night

Clean, comfortable, congenial
I'm not a great fan of airport hotels, and most of those I have stayed in at home and abroad, would not merit a review, but if you are flying from London, Gatwick, this one is better than many. It's ten minutes from both Terminals by hotel bus, so convenient, but also comparatively free from traffic noise. We booked ourselves in for one night, and the car in for a week, all for a reasonable price.The staff were friendly, the room squeaky clean, you could open the windows (hurrah!!). The restaurant staff could not be faulted, the food was, what can I say, as much as you would expect in terms of limited choice, but reasonably well presented. The car was kept on site, and dropped conveniently at the entrance for us on departure.All in all, no complaints. We'd use it again.

Very good
We stayed here on a fly, stay and park option. On arrival we was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Which was great after a long journey, No fussing about. Our room was what we expected nice comfy bed, A tv, which we never turned on, Bathroom nice clean with bath and shower which worked perfectly, a kettle with coffee and tea. When booking in we parked our car under a tree and was warned that it could get dirty there due to birds, But when we collected it not a trace of bird dirt on the car which was great so if it was moved or cleaned before us collecting it we was most grateful.Once we had dumped our bags we headed for the restaurant as we just wanted a nice quite meal, the food was fantastic, the steaks cooked to perfection. Waitress was nice and friendly and more than happy to help, the only thing I didn't like is there was an automatic service charge added to the bill I always like to tip the waitress personally and I hate automatic service charges added to my bill. The bus took about 15 mins to north terminal this is because it stops at another hotel to pick up and at south terminal before getting to north terminal, bus back from bus terminal less than 5 mins. Ticket ¿¿6 per person each way.Will we stay again. Yes without a shadow of a doubt.

excellent value
Booked through Holiday Extras as undercover hotel, only ¿¿70 pound for hotel and 15 days parking(bargain).Parking was behind the hotel and car was there when i returned.Hotel is large and has good size rooms.Restaurant was nice and not to expensive, children not allowed in bar area(but no signs to say this) will stay again if i can get for same price, only down side was cost of bus to airport ¿¿3 each way so for family of 3-4 is cheaper to get Taxi.Also charged ¿¿10 for extra day parking as over 15 days when you add the night in Hotel!!!!(Most airport hotels add this!)

No free wifi
The hotel itself is ok ...average rooms ....the restaurant food was absolutely delicious ..... Friendly and professional staff......so why am I only giving it a average rating??? YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR WIFI ..... This is absurd to me. Something's should be included and I feel this should definitely be one of the perks. And even worse .... The price they charge you for wifi. $5 for one hour ( and it is continuous ). Yes they have package deals but they are pricy. For tis reason alone I will never use this hotel again.
