Stayed here whilst attending a wedding. Very reasonable price considering location. This is an old building so beware of a lot of sloping & creaky floors, but that is part of the character. Decoration could generally do with an overhaul, but it's nothing that drastic. Breakfast was good - nice to get fresh cooked rather than luke warm fro a hot plate.The management were very helpful, making arrangements for a big family get together the night before the wedding, though at times it was very hard to find anyone. Would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.One warning - you'll need to park elsewhere if you have a wide vehicle - the entrance into the car park is very narrow!

We stayed in room 6 at this hotel on Sunday 5th May. The room was very pleasant with clean sheets and towels and most of all a clean toilet! There was a little wear and tear in the bathroom but I didn't find it any worse than some other hotels I have stayed at and paid a lot more for!The bed was very comfortable and everything worked in the room. There was a little noise from the bar which was all over with about 11pm (our window looked out into the entrance to the car park between the hotel and bar). Breakfast was very good with a good supply of tea/coffee and toast. The restaurant doesn't open on a Sunday so we walked down the road to the 'Smoking Dog' where we had a very nice roast dinner. As our room wasn't being used on the Monday we were told we didn't have to rush off and could return to our room to freshen up before we left for home. Just remember when entering the car park to get as straight as possible to go through the narrow gap - we own a Shogun and it just squeezed through with the wing mirrors folded in! We would stay at this hotel again.

We stayed for 5 nights in this hotel. Room nice and clean, beds not as comfortable as home but then what hotel bed is as nice as your own bed? Staff are very pleasant, nothing too much trouble. We had a lovely time, nice bar and lounge. Good English breakfast. Hotel is so convenient, a little noise from their special functions but to be expected in a town pub. Would highly recommend. Will stay there again.

Although the room was fairly comfertable, it was not particulaly clean, especially the bathroom. The window, which overlooked the main road could not be closed. The night we stayed, a Saturday night the first weekend in March, there was the monthls pub disco, which went on until 2 am. We were pre-warned that there might be a noise issue. With the open window, you can imagine it was particularly noisy. If you have more than an average sized car, do not attempt to get into the car park. The entrance is very narrow. I can put up with the above but to cap it all I have been charged three times for the room. The manager is convieniently not available, so I am still waiting to get a refund.

We stayed at the Kings Arms Hotel, Malmesbury from 21-23 March 2013. The stay was due to a wedding at the Abbey. There was a group of 7 of us staying in 4 different rooms.We stayed in room 8 which was a large double room with shower.Restaurant was superb, very good evening meal, and a very hearty breakfast was served in the mornings.
