Brilliant stay
My husband and I have just had our 2nd stay at the Meltham, and again it was excellent. Clean room with a good size bathroom. Breakfast is fab...cereals full English toast ect normally at 9am, however Alison is very accommodating and will do breakfast earlier if required. Location is ideal for Alexander Bowl, cricket and near to to Peasholme Park. Parking permits are available for the length of your stay and are free. Highly recommend guest house, we will be returning in the near future.

not dissapointed
This little B&B lives up to its rating. Good hosts, clean rooms well presented. Breakfast is at 9 but early breakfast can be arranged day before. Parking in Scarborugh is difficult and there is no off street parking for the guest house. Owner supplied us with parking disc which allowed us 3 hrs parking which was sufficient to cover hrs where we needed to park near guest house.

Best B and B in Scarborough?
I booked this because of the reviews and was not disappointed. Fantastic, immaculately clean and tidy room, warm welcome and as previously stated, nothing is too much trouble.... Parking, late breakfast, late checkout, directions etc. etc. in my case.

Great, friendly place to stay
Stayed for 2 nights in September whilst I started a new job in Scarborough. So glad I picked The Meltham to stay, the room was spacious, comfy and clean. The bathroom was of a good size and was to a modem hotel standard rather than the usual b&b standard.The owners are so friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble for them.I would definitely recommend staying here.

A little gem, will stay again
I often have to travel to Scarborough and stay overnight. This was a great place to stay, with well appointed rooms, very clean and well presented. The welcome was great and the breakfast was excellent too.I couldn't fault the place, and is far better than so many other places I've stay in Scarborough (including some of the more expensive hotels!).I will definitely book again.
