Great Service - Good Stay!
I stayed at this hotel in Apr 2013. Our flight was delayed and arrived late. As we were driving to the hotel from the airport, we received a phone call from the front desk around 9pm asking about our stay. When we arrived at the lobby, the front desk staff greeted us very friendly and in a professional manner. She gave us a free upgrade to a King Size bedroom and also gave us extra towels and pillows. She even asked us if we wanted toothpaste or anything else. Our bedroom was as always very clean and our stay was quite pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel!

Stay away if you can - (I am a regular Extended Stay visitor)
Thought I would let you know of my stay at Extended Stay at Newark (Farwell Drive) which was absolutely pathetic. I stay here and at a number of Extended Stay locations, but feel that this location is getting worse by day, Below are some of my experiences:1) I reached the hotel on 3/21 at 3 am. I had called in advance and told them I would be coming in late. Despite that, the phone was not working, and I ended up being left in the lurch for over 30 minutes. I had to keep banging on the door for somebody to finally acknowledge and open the door, all this in the middle of the night.2) The internet connection in my room was non-existent (even after paying 15$ per week additional for a ¿¿¿high-speed¿¿¿ connection - the charges do not bother me, so far as the internet works). When I mentioned this to the front-desk, they mentioned that it is a different service provider. I do understand this model, and am fine to go to a different provider for support. However, I met a number of people in this property who said the same thing about the internet, and the problem seemed to be systemic. When the hotel promises ¿¿¿Free wi-fi¿¿¿ on the rates, they have the moral responsibility to ensure that a connection is acceptable, for a business hotel. I ended up staying outside close to the lobby in the middle of the night until 1-2 am, which is frankly very unsafe, and has made me consider legal action with our legal team for a contract breach.3) The hotel has moved the check-out time to 11:00 am. Most hotels have check-out time as noon, and they happily extend for an hour or two (I have held platinum status at Marriott and Hilton, and am not speaking about that level of service, but normal hotels). But when I spoke to the front-desk person, she mentioned that she can extend upto noon (which to me is the regular check-out time), and will charge me for an extra day even if I stay for 5 more minutes. They have done this in the past to me as well, where they have charged for an extra day, when you check-out at 1:30 instead of noon. Also, please note this is after staying for 5 weeks continuous and spending much larger number of nights in the network.Overall, I found the customer service appalling and pathetic. The people at front-desk seem to lack basic courtesy/understanding of doing business. If not for the location, I would never consider staying here.

Excellent and Clean
I always stay at the extended stay America, and this one here was by far the suitable one for me it¿¿¿s close to everything you need.The staff was great, always smiling at you and they always try to help me if I need anything as well, also the breakfast was ok it would be a lot better if it had more varieties rather than fruits and muffins only.Overall I really enjoyed my stay here, thanks to all of you.

Exelent place to crash adter a long day on the road
Rooms are clean minor things fixable at the front desk great service they offer shampo and tootpaste if you missing something kitchen is clean and bed is comfortable great place to stay shower arw clean warm and cold water available yowels are clean and the laundry room is easy to use

Unjust service and treatment
I had been staying here for about a week.was expecting a guest at 5am the following morning,so i went to front desk to reserve the room,well had to have the room at 5 am so i paid for it the night prior just to be able to have access to the room before 3 pm in th afternoon.well my company didnt show till 730 n stayed till 1030.At 11:45 there was a knock on the door from the frontdesk,She went on to inform me that i couldnt extend my stay,Saying I had too many visitors and had to leave the motel at checkout,Which by this time gave me 20 min to pack my belongings,reserve another motel,try and find someone not working that could get to motel in 20 min.IMPOSSIABLE,Then informed me she would call the police and tell them i refuse leave which was a lie i said i couldnt do it in 20 minutes,now mind you this desk clerk had 6 7 hours to inform me of their decision,Now they didnt have any problem taking my money the night prior,and a poor excuse to ask us to leave for too much activity,my guest didnt even arrive untill 730 instead of 500am.ask to speek to management,there wasnt one on property at the time,so now that means they leave these kinds of decisions up to a counter clerk that discounts the fact that ur 2500 miles from home and put out on the street for their assumption or hearsay from a counter clerk that wants to play boss.I was put out on the street luggage n no ride.
