Communion Dinner
I would like to thank the Management, Staff and Chefs of the Carlton for a wounderful communion meal yesterday 18-05-2013. The staff were very nice, they had our touches added on to the table , brillent, , the table setting was lovely . The wine was well topped up . and we were very well looked after. Thank you for helping to make our day very special. Thank you Noreen

Decent hotel , good value
This is a nice modern hotel, rooms are big and comfortable. Flat screen tv , free Internet , parking.Ticks all the boxes for me on business trip.Staff were friendly, I found the location convenient but its a bit too far to walk to town centre.Only problem was bed was rock hard. Not a hotel with much atmosphere in bar or restaurant though. That said I will stay here again.

Could do better
The Carlton is a good base for exploring Tralee and the Dingle peninsula. It has a modern fresh feel to it - our room was bright, spacious, comfortable and quiet. However we were disappointed with the service generally. We consistently found the tables in the bar and restaurant were dirty and we found the service in the bar to be poor (wine served in a dirty glass). The breakfast provided is just about ok but nothing special (the room it is served in is quiet dark). To be balanced - we did find the staff on reception to be very helpful - especially when looking to book a table to dinner in town.Overall - comfortable as a base but would not want to spend a lot of time in the hotel.

Excellent value for money
The Carlton Tralee stay was a wonderful experience. Very friendly staff and great value for money. The free access to Aqua Dome was a treat. Children felt very welcome and with amble place to walk around didn't feel bored.

A great stay
I was impressed overall with the hotel...good value for money and staff were quite helpful! Had a family room and it was a good size room for the 4 of us. good location just fews mins drive from the town and right next door to aquadome!
