Warm and friendly welcome by Host
This is small B and B run very well by enthusiastic hosts. Eager to help you enjoy your stay with advice on walks around the are. The rooms were well maintained and very clean. Nice touch to leave large bottles of toiletries and emergency pack for female visitors. The breakfast was perfectly cooked by John and served by Sally. The house is a 'arts and crafts' house with many original features. It is situated on the edge of the Valley of the Rocks excellent position for walkers only a stones through from the town with the pubs and cafes.

Value for money
We had a smallish room with various nice touches, such as hand cream, biscuits and cakes. Good free wifi. Reasonably priced. Hosts friendly (but we gather they are trying to sell the business). Slight irritation that breakfast has to be ordered the night before, together with a time slot.

Very friendly and well located hotel
We stayed here as a suprise from for our anniversary in August and had a very enjoyable time. The guest house is well situated in Lynton only a short walk to the cliff railway into Lynmouth and in the other direction to valley of the rocks. The owners were very friendly and helpful without being overbearing. The breakfasts were lovely and various options were available and they helped my partner make bookings for dinner with great recommendations before we got there. The rooms were clean and comfortable with everything you needed. It's well worth a trip to saunton and porlock if you down that way as well as the beautiful lynton and lynmouth.

What a smashing place.
We enjoyed our stay at the Denes Guest House very much. The atmosphere was very friendly, and Sally and John were the best possible hosts. Very helpful. The room was immaculate and your every need had been accounted for. When we go back to Lynton, we will definately book here again. Made our holiday great.

Everything perfect
We stayed here for two nights, perfect place to start your trips into Exmoore. The owners were very friendly and helpful, especially when we planed our walking activities. By the way, the nature around this place is just wonderful! Thanks again. This B&B is our recommendation without a second thought!
