Quiet Location No Frills Great Breakfast
We just stayed one night here. The location is not close to any attractions, but is not far from the freeway. The room was basic with an older TV, but everything was clean and in good working order. The free breakfast was one of the best of any hotel where we've stayed. It had every breakfast item that is offered at free hotel breakfasts and it was all appropriately hot or cold.

Recommend if visiting Wheaton College
We stayed here on a recent college visit. The hotel feels like it's located in a "business park" of town - there are no restaurants or retail within close walking distance. But restaurants are available within a 5-10 minute drive. The breakfast on Sunday morning was nicer than Monday morning (more hot selections) but still a good breakfast. Having a microwave and mini fridge was handy, especially for leftover pizza. Staff and room met expectations. We were given a Wheaton discount. Took 10-15 minutes to get to Wheaton. We will stay here again if our child attends Wheaton.

All around amazing
Everything was perfect. The bathroom and room were spotless. The bed was comfy. I was able to get work done and started the day with a great breakfast. The bar in the corner was a pleasant surprise after sitting through a long day of meetingd.

Great value in Naperville
The Country Inn & Suites (Carlson) has become my go-to place to stay when in in the Naperville area. It's convenient to the E-W Tollway, reasonably close to downtown Naperville and Ogden Ave., and is also not too far away from neighboring Wheaton. The free breakfast is very good, with some variety from day to day. Nice rooms, and they provide feather-free pillows in the closet for those with allergies. I like that they have a small on-site bar if you just want a quick drink in the evening. The indoor pool and decently-equipped fitness room are plusses. Usually the rate is a very good deal.

What is going on with hotels
Im not really a picky guy. I just tell the truth, if a customer pays for a hotel room they should get what they pay for. Check in was fine. The room once again for a hotel was out dated,the old box tv. A couch that looked like my grandparents,and a mold smell in the bathroom. With both the walls and ceiling plaster cracked.The morning breakfast was the kicker. Toaster did not work. A TV FLAT SCREEN THAT SHOULD BE IN ALL ROOMS was on a table in the middle of the dining area with all wires showing. There was no place to use to clean your hands with all the dirty hands lifting the food from the food warmers.Some can say im to picky. But really these hotels take a lot of our money every day, should we not expect to have a wonderful stay.Ill be in key west next month. Istay at the Ocean Key Resort on 0 duval st, and i have stayed there over 8 times at $400.00 a night. What that means is there are places that take pride in taking care of there guests.
