Originally we were suppose to stay at Liscannor Hotel across the street, but they had construction going on so they transferred us across the street. It was a really nice hotel to stay at. The rooms were pretty big. The food at the restaurant was very good and the service was top notch. Breakfast was very god and you could eat your fill! The only thing we couldn't find was a hair dryer. Not a big deal though. I gave the sleep quality 3 stars because we were woken up one night due to some very drunk people being loud. Location was given 3 stars because there isn't really anything in the immediate area. There are only two pubs in the town and one doesn't serve food during the week. There are no banks or post offices in this town.

Stayed here for 2 nights in April, we had originally booked the hotel over the road but it was being refurbished and was not finished, we were then booked into this hotel on the same deal and what a bonus! We were given an extra large boutique style room with huge comfy bed and armchairs and lcd tv which unusually was a large screen, the bathroom was luxurious and warm with a great shower over the bath, there were also tea and coffee making facilities (unfortunately no biscuits but that seems to be the norm in Ireland). It was also nice and quiet at night time and spotlessly clean in all areas of the hotelWe ate in the hotel he first night as it was part of our package but it was so good we ate there the second night also. The breakfasts were equally as good with a great choice and well cooked. All of he staff were brilliant, very friendly and helpful. There is a large car park so no problems parking and a short walk away we found a brilliant pub called Joseph McHughs which did fab Guinness and had live music on the Sunday evening..fab. The hotel is only a short drive from the cliffs of moher (as you might expect given the name). All in all a great hotel that I would definitely recommend.

I'm don't think that this is a four star (it does not have leisure facilities, for example). Our room was quite large, spotless, well-equipped and warm. The attitude of the staff was superb. Everybody was extremely courteous, helpful and professional.The hotel offers great value (and serves a lovely breakfast too).I would have no concerns about recommending it.

Great little hotel very clean nice bar and food. Staff is so friendly and helpful especially Caroline the manager and polish waiter amil. Thank you very much for wonderful hospitality will see you again

Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a small bit of luxury in a little village on the west coast. I don't think it's open all year though. The rooms are nicely done, the food is good and the staff are great. There's a manager called Caroline who seems to be the glue that firms it all together. It's not a big hotel, maybe 20 rooms or so. Next door you have Vaughan's which is renowned for it's seafood - pricey but well worth a try. And then you have Josie McHughs, Egans and Tommy O'Briens - all are worth a visit and offer different unique treats in their own individual ways.
