Ok
This hotel is very old and rundown. The lawn is shaggy and there is no security cameras. Carpets are old and grungy. Outlets are hidden and hard to use. The Internet was not usable. Just needs updates & this would be a five star. Sheets & bath are excellant & clean.

Business Travel Stay
I normally stay at a different hotel, but chose this one as I had a manufacture rep coming into town to work a show with me. My initial impression was fair as this is a older looking hotel. I found my room clean, but the heater never really heated up the room. When I came back there was water leaking into the room from the window frame. They moved me to a new room and this heater was much better, about run you out if not careful. The hotel staff was very helpful and accommodating. During a conversation with the manager, I found out that this hotel is a recent acquisition for them and that help make clear some of the building issues. Overall, the room was quiet, work space ok, the bed was comfortable and great shower pressure. Halls were a little cool.. Breakfast selection was great

No upgrades for diamond members
If this hotel gave free upgrades to Diamond members, I would have given it a 4 star rating. One of the perks for me of spending so much time on the road, and staying in so many Choice hotels, are the free upgrades that 99% of the Choice hotels do if they have an available room. If you are a Diamond member, I would suggest staying somewhere else as this hotel doesn't even consider the option. The staff was polite when they said they don't do free upgrades. The bed was extremely comfortable, the towels were decent, and the room was pretty good. The cords for the television, light, and coffee pot were an eyesore, but that didn't effect my stay. It just looked unprofessional. Overall the stay was good, but I won't stay here again since they won't even consider a free upgrade. I don't mean that to sound pretentious, after being on the road for 4 years, and using Choice almost exclusively, it is just a perk that goes with the territory. I don't understand why housekeepers at so many hotels knock on my door before the late checkout time I ask for, but it continues to happen, and that is what happened here. I asked for a late checkout, and there was a knock at the door a little after 11 am. It was annoying after a late night and sleeping in late.

I reserved my room online through Choice's website. My flight ended up being cancelled and I arrived a day late. I called ahead and the the staff at the hotel was very accommodating. My stay was originally for two nights, however I only ended up staying for one. The hotel has many amenities including a fitness room, restaurant/lounge, full breakfast buffet, and an outdoor pool. After a long day I was exhausted and spent my time in my room but just from passing by in the hallway I know the hotel had a lot to offer. The room was great. Very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The room was very quiet. The shower was definitely one of the best, if not the best I've ever used. Not sure what it was about it, but it just felt so relaxing, almost as if it were massaging. I would definitely stay here again if ever in the area. I give my highest recommendation of this hotel and much of it is all due to the staff.

Favorite nice hotel for special occassions
My husband and I rent the two room suite when we want to celebrate a special occasion. We have been several times and I really like the hotel. It is a large hotel and has a complimentary full breakfast available, complete with freshly cooked waffles if you want them. The breakfast hostess is wonderful and makes you feel like you are at home with mom serving you breakfast. I recommend it for a place to get away, but there is only an outdoor pool so the kids won't have a place to swim unless it's swimming weather.
