Relaxing and adventurous
We stayed in a small apartment, with an open balcony, from where we could catch the evening rays of sun while we were watching the lovely gardens, the pool or the tennis court. This resort has a few bars, where we enjoyed a couple of caipirinhas almost every night, and a (seemingly) nice restaurant that we never used, since we chose to ride our bikes to Santa Luzia village, which is about 10 minutes away. From the resort, we took the beach ferry and were in the middle of 10 km long beautiful island with sand beaches. To the right, and after walking a bit there is one of the few official naturist beaches of Portugal. It is lovely to run the full length of that part of the island, since there are very few persons and they are never on your way.In the resort you can rent bikes and close by there is the cycle route that crosses all the Algarve. This part of the route is spectacular since you are in the middle of Ria Formosa, a natural park, a true sanctuary of nature, where you can observe birds and many small islands. There are a few small villages with bars and restaurants where you can stop and have a drink or a meal. We had a wonderful time.

Ideal for relaxing and for family vacation
We spent there 2 weeks, and although we didn¿¿¿t know much about it, I heard from other people that had stayed there, that is was a very quiet and nice place to relax. So we booked an apartment. This place is really nice and quiet, with lots of trees and gardens, which are kept really neat on a daily basis. Apartment cleaning services are included in the price. The apartments have kitchens, and there is a supermarket inside the aldeamento, so you can buy the food and cook it. The kitchen has all the kitchenware necessary, so that was nice also. The swimming pool is very nice, clean and well-kept by the lifeguards. There is also a piano bar, where we went to every night, with pool tables where we played a few games. Plus, they have TV¿¿¿s to watch soccer matches! Very important! :-)

Nice and quiet place to stay at
The complex offers one storey houses with two apartments each. We chose studio apartment - bedroom with small kitchen, terrace and bathroom (bathtub). Rooms very clean though some may look modernised long time ago, the same impression you may get from the outside. TV set, table with two chairs and even two additional beds included (suppose for children) We had some doubts when it comes to the doors on the terrace which did not look very solid. The safe deposit is available at the reception desk but you have to pay for it separately. Very quiet and located in the green gives you the sense of being far away from the civilisation. Swimming pool available but most preferred going to the beach (either on foot - about 20 minutes or using quite slow train - about 10-15 minutes leaving every 15 minutes). The shop in the hotel is rather expensive so it is better to go to the city, the same for restaurant. A big plus for a lot of parking space.

Good Option for your money
This is a lovely property, beautiful grounds with lots of amenities. It is not posh but very good value for your money. We stayed in a V2. The beds are hard so be prepared! Lots of space except for the kitchen area and could use more equipment for cooking.We would certainly come again but would rent the superior apartments for just a bit more money.Diane from Nova Scotia

A place to suit everyone
We stayed in this village complex for three nights in October. We were extremely impressed with the Studio Apartment we chose. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious, clean and had a nice balcony. Enough power points, especially by the mirror (ladies will understand the importance of this). The kitchen and sitting area with patio was on a lower level which would not be convenient for anyone with mobility difficulties but suited us very well indeed. The rooms were cleaned each day and there was a good supply of bath towels and the kitchen equipment was more than adequate. All in all the apartment was excellent and I would be more than happy to stay again. There was a good restaurant available also two bars to relax in. The staff were always very helpful and friendly. We were there at the end of the summer season so it was very quiet but I'm sure there is enough space and gardens for it never to appear too crowded. We did not use the swimming pool but it looks sparkling clean and well cared for. We would happily paid more tha we did so it was excellent value for money. All in all a super place to stay.
