OK for a one night stop
We are not the sort of couple that go for a hotel with pool, gym and other facilities catering for sun-loving holiday makers! However, if you are, then this could well be the hotel for you although if every guest wanted to use the facilities, they would find it difficult!We were staying only one night as part of a Riviera Travel tour of Andalucia, and for this purpose it was perfectly adequate. Our room was very comfortable, quiet and clean. However, as with every hotel we stayed at in Spain, if you expect a kettle and tea making facilities in your room you will be disappointed!There is a safe in the room but there is a separate charge for using it.There are a good couple of pools, one inside and one outside, together with a range of exercise equipment.The town of Mijas is just up the road and can be got to, by the fitter folk, by walking up the road. Alternatively, there is a half-hourly bus service (E1.50) most days from outside the hotel.The walls did seem a bit thin as there was noise from an adjoining room and from the corridor, but otherwise it was peaceful although we were there in late April, so not high season.The staff was very helpful.

One night only
Part of a Rivera Travel holiday with a one night stopover. We thought that the Hotel was attractively sighted and well maintained with a pleasant decor,. Our room (on the ground floor) was a good size with a comfortable bed and very clean. The evening meal , whilst not outstanding,was perfectly acceptable. The grounds of the hotel were very pleasant indeed with a lovely view towards the coast and a mountainous backdrop.

Fantastic pool with the feel of a small hotel
Exactly what we were looking for-quiet location, short flight, close to a beautiful village in Mijas and plenty of sun!Rooms wasn't perfect but that's what we expected for the cost but a beautif view. The second half of our holiday we found that despite a sign the sun loungers were being reserved and nothing was done-a big bug bear! The food wasn't covered and was very bland but would definitely stay again due to how relaxed we felt!

Decent hotel in quiet spot
Stayed for 1 night as part of a tour. The hotel is situated on the road between the main coastal highway & the little mountain village of Mijas although neither is reachable by foot but are only a short drive away. Hotel itself is decent enough with a nice pool & patio area with lovely panoramic views of the hills. Our room was fine & the staff very friendly. The food, as is usual, was on a buffet style basis & the choices available seemed reasonable enough for us although the price for dinner was the dearest of the 3 hotels we stayed at.Would recommend this hotel as a stopover if you're touring. Mijas village is a must to see, complete with an old bullring, & nearby Mijas Costa is a great place for a day on the beach as it is a small, fishing village type, resort and much quieter than the busy Fuenguerola down the road.

Nice Hotel, Good location.
A one night stay with Riviera Travel on their Classical Spain tour. Hotel is close to Mijas but not within walking distance. Regular bus service from outside the hotel to Mijas and Fuengirola. Welcoming reception area and very helpful English speaking staff manning the desk. The hotel is situated in it's own grounds and there is ample seating on the terrace for lunch/drinks etc. Pool is unheated and there is a small, basic gym. Our large room overlooked the terrace but we were unaware of any noise. A good size safe came at a cost of 2.5 euros per night.The buffet dinner was poor value at 18 Euros. Breakfast typical of this type of hotel - adequate and with a reasonable selection to suit every palate but not particularly good quality. We were too early in the season for air con but it really was needed in v/o the high temperatures. This made for disturbed sleep.
