Fabulous Stay!
Just back from a break at the Talbot Carlow and it was one of the best hotels I've ever been too. The room was large, modern and beds were very comfy. The swimming pool is fantastic. We ate in the bar and had fantastic food for a very good price. The chicken wings and pasta carbonara were amazing. We got breakfast brought up to the room. all of our full irish breakfasts were pipping hot and very yummy and was delivered right on time. I will definitely return to the Talbot Carlow. The staff from the reception to the bar were so friendly and helpful. Big thank you to Liz at reception for all her help. Cannot wait to return!!!

Excellent Stay
My husband and I stayed here on 11th. May 2013 for 1 night. We were attending a car rally the following day in Tullow. Everything was perfect from check in to check out. Staff in reception, bar and restaurant very pleasant. Our room was hugh with a double and single bed, very modern and comfortable. We ate in the bar, food is served upto 9.30pm. Very nice and tasty. There was a man playing a guitar and singing in the bar on the Sat. night of our stay and he was really good. Not loud so you could talk comfortably over him. There was a slight bit of raised voices from some unpleasant people on our corridor at about 4 am. I rang reception and complained about this as the noise woke us up. It was dealt with immediately and all settled down. The receptionist apologised to us the following morning. Not hotels fault if these kind of people book in. Would not put me off in returning to this hotel again and would have no problem recommending this hotel to anyone. Very clean and well maintained premises. Keep up the good work!

Beautiful hotel, very friendly staff especially at reception!!! Loved everything about the hotel!!
Everything was fantastic about this hotel. The Only small thing is the location is a bit out of the city centre but didn't bother us that much. Swimming pool was lovely & relaxing, food was fantastic both breakfast and dinner!

Great place, great people.
Stayed on May 11th. Had a slightly romantic night planned that wasn't complete. Liz and Hazel on the front desk went above and beyond the call of duty helping me make sure it was a fantastic stay. Had dinner in Corries on Saturday night and it was delicious. The room was lovely and welcoming. Had breakfast in the Liberty Tree restaurant and it was delicious. I would recommend the Talbot easily. The room price was very reasonable.

Talbot hotel Carlow
Very many thanks to the delightful staff particularly Hazel at Reception who was so helpful about places to visit and parking and Geraldino our very attentive waiter at dinner . Our food was delicious both evening meal and breakfast which was beautifully served without a scrap of grease. The restaurant has lovely views over the surrounding countryside The evening entertainment was great fun. We had a really really nice stay and would definitely stay again. My only complaint would be the coffee at breakfast.
