Proper Luxury 5 Star
Once again another stay to remember, sea view room with 2 spa baths (one on balcany) room was immaculate as usual , swimming pools not busy so relaxing time spent round them , all staff very helpful, breakfast the best selection , cant praise this hotel enough , back again in a few months .

A real good find
We have been in this wonderful hotel for drinks and then decided to book a few nights , it is a real find what an amazing location with 3 large pools one of which is heated We booked for two nights but ended up staying for three The hotel is outstanding and the staff are so lovely and friendly nothing is to much trouble and they will go out of there way to help you The rooms are grate with amazing view of the pools and the sea The room is very clean and the maids are lovely and always say hello The food is at a very standard. If you like Gin there is a grate Gin club. Free wifi in the rooms very good if you don't want to talk to your partner lol. We will be very sad to go bit we would like to say a big thank you to every for you kindness and help Hope to see you soon Roy & Chris

SH Hotel Villa Gadea, Altea
Super hotel with excellent facilities and staff. Stayed here on all-in basis with Saga holidays. The room was spacious with good beds and lounge facilities. Bathroom and toilet separate with powerful separate shower cabin. Linen and towel exchange frequent and cleaning was first class. Balcony had comfortable loungers and table with beautiful view across pool areas to the sea. One of the three pools was heated and lunch was served al fresco in a separate restaurant. Food was always well cooked and presented and breakfasts were fabulous. Would heartily recommend this hotel and would stay there again!

had about 4 stays here,staff are so polite,love the relaxed feel of the place.spa is wonderful we really enjoy that.breakfast is buffet style and is excellent .i would recommend this hotel for relaxing time.bit pricey in bar but very nice surroundings on the whole excellent hotel and really is 4 star

Reasonable brunch with reasonable choice-fantastic location
We went today to the SH Villa Gadea Hotel outside Altea to have there newly introduced Sunday brunch. The choice was a bit limited for a brunch and apart from turkey breast there was no other choice of meat but some nice sword fish and tasty fish paella. The choice of starters was reasonable and for dessert there was little to chose from. Included in the price of 18 Euros is the buffet as well as water, juices and coffee. The wine card has a good selection of wines at acceptable prices. After all, villa Gadea is a 5 Star hotel. When presented with the bill the price came to about 1400 Euros but was for 86 persons. We were only 6 persons. When pointing this out to the man in charge, he rushed to the cash till and soon presented the correct bill without any apologies. Needless to say that we left no tip. The hotel villa Gadea is fabulous and the outside area with lovely gardens and several pools is definitely worth a visit. Also you can go there just for having coffee or a glass of wine and enjoy the luxury terrace with fabulous views. The brunch is not a meal you would highly recommend to friends but worth a try.
