Loved every minute of my stay
We stayed here with my 4 year old daughter and I was a bit apprehensive about the hotel at first. My usual experiences with London hotels is they don't like children staying! However this was a very child friendly hotel. We felt really comfortable here, the rooms were a good size, and the child buffet for dinner was good!We managed to get parked right outside the hotel and parking was free. The only downside was the lack of toys for the children in the kids area.A few more toys and it would be perfect. The staff were very polite and helpful and made you feel at ease. Will definitely stay here again.

Quick Trip
Invited to a Golden Wedding anniversary in Bracknell, never having been there before checked on the internet. Found The Grange and booked 2 weeks before we travelled. Its a little strange having to park in a public car park but the hotel is accessed by a short walkway. The exterior from the car park was a little worrying but once through the doors lovely. Staff very helpfull and our room beautiful, the view aws nothing to write home about but for one night that didn't matter. We had the best nights sleep we've had in any hotel, huge bed really comfortable, and great pillows. Breakfast was buffet style and appart from only plain yoghurts, they do not have fruit ones, the food was good. All in all would definately stay there again and recomend this hotel to others. A Hidden Gem
Is this Bracknell's best kept secret ? A hotel hidden amidst a shopping area, but once found is a pleasure to behold.Spacious rooms, even more spacious are the apartments, Great food, clean decor and very relaxed. We stayed here as part of a package deal as part of a trip to Legoland which is a 15 minute drive away.Windsor and Ascot are within very easy reach too the M4 is a few miles away so a trip into London is also a pretty easy thing to do.We as a family will definately be staying here again in the future.

Consistent Mediocrity
In the area on business & decided that the Grange was worth a visit. Check in was fairly simple, my booking was for a Superior room with a kitchenette, didn't get this but wasn't overly fussed.Ordered room service on the first evening. ¿¿28 for a drink (¿¿4 for a machine pumped coke), main & the world's worst cheeseboard. The main was good, unfortunately any good will I had was evaporated by the selection of cheap cheeses that came to ¿¿8!!! Breakfast according to my room service card was a mere ¿¿18, decided after the first offering of food to not put any more faith in their chefs.Had a poor first night's sleep, the pillows provided were soft & thin. Asked at reception for a firm pillow, only to be told that they only have one standard offering. On three separate occasions my keys did not work, had to trudge back to reception on every occasion to apologetically be asked if maybe I was magnetic or radioactive or something. Surely a better key system would fail less?WiFi was ¿¿10 a day if you wanted to pay for it. This is an insane amount of money to charge, especially when guests are paying ¿¿80+ a night for a room. Luckily I had a SIM card for my laptop and could use cell data instead. The fitness room contains one bike, one rowing machine & one running machine. Better than nothing, but a complete after thought. Also gave up with air conditioning at night. When the dated unit sounds like a hovercraft, churning out 50+ decibels constantly for not much cool air, might as well be warm instead. There aren't many eating options in the area. It seems Bracknell as a town is due to be bulldozed, given the huge number of boarded up shops. Burger King underneath the hotel closes at 7pm. There are a couple of pubs, a Waitrose, Sainsburys, Dominos & McDonalds all within walking distance. There were some good points. The shower was good, once you had fought your way into it. The selection of TV channels was also decent. Parking was fine, just remember to get your token activated.Overall, there is a Premier Inn down the road that would probably be far better than this. There are plenty of other hotels in the area, one day I hope to find a decent one!

An oasis
We stayed at The Grange Bracknell as part of a package deal with legoland. being 10 minutes away from the park did make it very convenient. although quite difficult to find, once we did find it, we were very pleasantly surprised. in the centre of what is called The Ring (a huge roundabout) it merges with the surrounding shopping centres and car parks so a sharp eye is needed to spot the signs to the entrance. there is also a sign on the side of the building, only around 200 ft high, so hard to spot :/Once we parked (there are around half a dozen free parking spaces outside the hotel) and entered the hotel we were greeted by the duty manager, a quietly spoken Indian gentleman, who was very helpful, and did all he could to assist us and make us welcome. The room we stayed in was a family room which is essentially two rooms joined by a french door, the bathroom of the second room having been changed to a kitchen, this served us adequately for the one night, had all the amenities you would expect, and was very clean and comfortable.Breakfast was taken in a family room to one side of the main dining room, i assume so that we would not disturb the other guests with noisy kids. the options for breakfast were great, the usual suspects being on offer, Full English, cereals or continental, seeing as all diets were cancelled while away from home, the full english found it's way to my table, and most enjoyable it was too.All in all the hotel could not be faulted, it was everything you would expect from a hotel of this sort.
