"The Jewel of Mijas"
This hotel has undergone some refurbishment but the same excellent and attentive staff are still on hand. The spa and wellness facilities have improved beyond recognition and now offer a wide range of treatments. Even if one is not staying in one of the delightful rooms, one could spend an entire day here eating and being pampered. The owner, John, goes out of his way to ensure the comfort of his guests.

Enjoyable stay - fantastic views
Stayed in the Hotel Tamisa Golf durning a friends stag party and really enjoyed it. The staff and management were very accommodating and patient at all times. The golf course looked fantastic and it had a beautiful mountainous backdrop. There was a good selection of bar food that was well cooked.The layout of the rooms was basic and a bit tired however the Bang & Olufsen TV and a solid wifi connection made up for this. The outdoor pool looked fantastic but as it was very cold I only used it once. The indoor pool was better but there was mould growing around the jacuzzi. The hotel was 5-10 mins from the main town so a fair amount was spent on Taxis.Overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend the Hotel Tamisa Golf.

Another excellent stay
We got married in the Tamisa in December 2007 and ever since we try and return when we can (as do all our family). It has the most perfect setting for a hotel overlooking the Mijas golf course. The staff are so friendly and always remember us when we return. The hotel has the added bonus of having an indoor and outdoor pool so if you go offseason you can still relax by the indoor pool if the weather is chilly outside. Food is excellent also. They do a brilliant club sandwich for lunch. Best I've had. Looking forward to returning to the Tamisa in the near future.....

Lovely Hotel - Beautiful Views
A lovely location with fantastic views over the golf course and the mountains. Rooms were clean and very spacious. The staffs were very friendly and helpful and we were made to feel welcome. Brilliant base for the many excellent golf courses and the hotel will transfer you to them. It was very quiet for a hotel so able to sleep soundly. Would definitely return again! My only complaint was the hotel food was a bit pricey but they often are!

Perfect Setting for a Wedding
A Wedding is a very personal and special occasion and we wanted to ensure we celebrated our Wedding in the best venue possible. The Hotel Tamisa Golf in Mijas Costa proved to be just that. We hired the entire Hotel to accommodate our family and friends from across Europe & the Caribbean and we were entertained throughout the entire weekend.John Peach, Luchy Labato and their dedicated team of professional staff made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. The service was consistently excellent; all the meals - breakfasts, lunches, dinners and the magnificent Wedding Banquet were exceptional; the accommodation and setting, perfect!John & Luchy made the whole process of organising our Wedding so easy. They thought of everything, from collecting all the guests from the Airport to the wedding photographer, cars, cake, table arrangements etc. Their ideas and creativity were original and very welcome. Their knowledge, experience, empathy and efficiency removed any stress that we may have had in planning our special day. The professional and friendly staff ensured all the plans were implemented seamlessly.Thanks to the Tamisa, our Wedding Weekend was way above our expectations and gave us an experience we will never forget. A definite must, if you are looking for a superb wedding venue!
