Beautiful Inn, Perfect Central Location
My husband and I stayed here for four nights in March. We escaped Germany for some sunshine and this small hotel was in a perfect central location for exploring all of Mallorca. This is a family run hotel so the mother cooks dinner, the brother and sister run the check-in and serve in the dining room. Have dinner in the hotel at least one night--it is much better than that raved about pork knuckle in a nearby town. Breakfast was better than most European family inns we have stayed at. Eggs will be cooked to order if requested. Try the Quely cookies--a local Mallorcan treat. Parking is free right next to the hotel. The rooms are beautiful--large and tastefully decorated. We did not use the spa but the roof top was a nice place to sit for some sun.While we were in Lloseta a great carnival/fair came through town and we were able to see beautiful traditional Mallorcan dancers and famillies out for the day in the sunshine. There is a small cafe near the hotel that seemed busy at all hours and a few other small restaurants--nothing special but other places to eat. We thought the town was charming a great place to return to after a busy day of sight seeing.The building is mis-matched with the service. This is a family inn located in an "almost-lux-boutique" facility. If you are looking for someone to be at your beck and call and to provide you detailed service this isn't the place for you. Unlike some reviewers--we found the service more than appropriate for a family hotel. Cultural styles differ and what may seem rude or brusk to an American (myself) may indeed be the norm. I did not give the hotel an "Excellent" rating because I saw what I see at most hotels that we stay at--a lack of attention to the cleanliness of common areas--they weren't dirty they just hadn't been picked up after other guests had left coffee cups, water bottles and the like.If you want a beautiful room, in a quiet location and good food--I highly recommend staying at Cas Comte when visiting Mallorca.

Hotel nice, service questionnable
We (friend and myself) spent 3 nights there. The room is nice and clean, although the bathroom was oversized in comparison to the bedroom. We both had a massage which was excellent. Negative however was, we had to wait at reception 45 min until someone showed up for the check-in. Jos¿¿ who is in charge is arrogance personified and he lets you feel it - it was f.e. more important to carry out chairs and tables (though nobody wanted to sit outside - too cold) than to serve coffee to the breakfast guests. Ignoring the guests was his favourite. Ok, for that reason I would not go back because Mallorca offers plenty of charming places with more cordial service.

Marvelous Stay, Superb Breakfast, Attentfull hosts
Quiet and peacefull place, but perfect location to discover all the rest of Mallorca. Rooms are a stylishfull fusion of ancient and very modern times. My wife still remembers breakfast, fresh eggs and yoyghurt straight from the farmer next door. Really advisable, for those who are fed up with mass tourism-type-of-hotels.

Nice hotel, in a forgotten village.
Nice hotel in a forgotten village.Stayed four nights at the hotel July 8 to 12.When we were checking in, we look for someone who was willing to help us. After a while, a very stressed woman helped us.She showed us our room in haste, asked if we wanted to eat at the hotel at night and then she was gone.The suite was on three floors, bathroom on the first, sitting room on the second and a sleeping loft.Quite nicely decorated but a bit dark.We had a pleasant surprise when we explored the hotel and found a pool on the roof, it was brand new.In the evening we would eat at the hotel, but it's really nothing we can recommend.The same woman who checked us in serving and she did not seem to think it was funny at all. She was just as stressed and almost unfriendly when we asked about the menu.We do not have a la carte, just a menu, she said. We asked if we could just take some of the dishes because we were so hungry. No you can not, she said it is way too expensive!? Who, we wondered, for us or them. But we did get to the menu.The food was not good. Strange shared sets of flavors and an almost inedible fish.Breakfast was good and there was plenty to choose from. The village hotel is located is almost eerily empty.There was only one restaurant (Santi Taura), which incidentally is very good but almost always fully booked, the other restaurants had closed their business.So it happens absolutely nothing in this village.The hotel is nice but has bad service, bored and unengaged staff is located in an 'empty' village. The SPA smelled like a aquarium.Its not much for the high price you pay.

Gorgeous boutique hotel with lovely rooms and charming staff
We arrived exhausted after a string of delayed flights, but upon arrival at the serene Cas Comte Petit Hotel this summer, our irritation melted away. The kind staff had retired but left us a note and amenities to help us settle in. We had a lovely suite, with two beds enclosed in an alcove and a an extra bed made up to accomodate us in the living room area. The bathroom was gorgeous, with quality finishings, thick-cut glass and original stone everywhere. While it took a while to drive from Lloseta to various sites, we were mostly happiest when returning home to our hotel. There, we basked in the courtyard, listening to the sound of small fountains and reading in the loungers.
