Out in the sticks, ants in the room, vile food. Little English spoke here !!
I stayed here recently with 3 other friends & was extremely disappointed thank god it was only for 2 nights!! There were only a handful of very pleasant members of staff - a young Spanish lady who worked in the shop, a lady on reception and a gentleman who seemed lovely - think he was the restaurant manager only saw him once one evening. & the men driving the golf carts. The rest of the staff were pretty rude and the guy on reception was just arrogant. The rooms were ok, 4 of us in a room which was pretty dark but nice & cool. There is a safe too which is great & no charge to use it. We had ants in our room as well - on the 2nd floor !! The pool area is nice and clean. The area is so hilly my calves are the size of tree trunks.The food in the little cafe near the pool is vile !! The breakfast was poor, especially for 8 euros. We asked for a menu to be refused by an arrogant waiter who even when we attempted to speak Spanish looked down his nose at us as if we were the lowest form of mankind. We had a cheese and ham toasty which had hair in & raw chips. Unfortunately there is nothing with walking distance so you are abit stuck if you don't have a car. Taxis are a rip off - they charge you for travelling to collect you. Alicante - 35Benidorm - 42 airport - 42 ish. Personally I wouldn't stay here again if someone paid me and if you don't speak fluent Spanish, or have a car, stay well away from here !!

Great studios and apartments
I had a very enjoyable stay in front of the holiday season - in March 2013. Peace and quiet and a beautiful view from the windows. The most captivated me breakfast and dinner on the sunny balcony. Very friendly service, both reception and cleaning service.The buildings form an independent village, with 3 restaurants, a shop and a spa. Within the hotel's swimming pool, ping-pong tables and parking facilities pay an additional 5 Euro per day.The studios are very clean and well equipped.It was a very enjoyable stay and would like to use the hotel again.

Pueblo apartments
These apartments are first rate. Our bedroom was extremely spacious, much larger than a standard hotel room. We had a luxury bathroom and one kitchen/diner. this room was a little on the small side when the sofa bed was opened out, but I can't say that this spoilt our stay in any way whatsoever. The kitchen appliances worked well and the crockery/pans etc were adequate for preparing basic meals. The best feature of the apartment, however, was the balcony which overlooked the mediterranean. Fabulous!The staff here are another big positive, in particular the restaurant manager and the girl working in the site shop. The reception staff were not always top notch, as they often seemed in a hurry to get away! The complex itself is pretty, well designed and well sited. I would happily stay here again.

Awesome!
The hotel area is like a little village. It's all very charming and pretty. There are only two flaws for us: the internet connection is quite slow, and there is approximately 1 kms to the nearest convenience store. 1 kms up the mountains... We'll manage, those are just minor flaws. :-)The service is superb, we get new sheets and towels every third day and the staff is very helpful with information about the area, surroundings and communications. We can't do anything other than to recommend you all to go here. It's a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

HILLS, SECLUDED, HUNGRY, DARK!
We got back yesterday from a 5 night stay at this hotel. It's not really classes as a hotel because you feel quite alone in your own apartment, not really a hotel atmosphere!Staff very nice. When I read other peoples reviews I thought they meant there are hill everywhere around the hotel but 'oh my god' the whole complex is a very steep hill from the reception to every room. Not for the unfit!!!There was no entertainment & the food in top restaurant was a regret. The lower restaurant is ok if you eat sea food!We had to hire a car, the hotel is like everyone says 'in the middle of nowhere'The tram was certainley not in walking distance, well we couldnt find it! There is an English ran hire car garage in el campello, they are very nice people & fantastic service, they picked us up from the hotel & we drove to the airport on our departure day & they collected it from there. We paid ¿¿¿95 for 6 days. (E.D.I cars).The on site shop is CRAZY expensive!We went to a local supermarket (in the car) & cooked in our room. We stayed in an estudio apartment. It was very clean and had all mod-coms, down to iron to a potato peeler. Only thing I would say is the room was very dark, probably a god send it the hotter months! Our flight was at 9:45pm but we had to check out at 12:00 noon, had bit of time to kill!!We went to the Zoo in Aitanna, was fantastic! You drive through most of the zoo in your car & you can stop & get out to take pics! We werent allowed to touch the animals but we did, it was lovely! You get to drive through the lions enclosure but we had to keep moving & windows done up-obviously!! The animals we all healthy wit plenty to eat & amazing living conditions! Its a must do. All in all it was a nice stay at this hotel, we probably won't go back tho, too far away from anything & not enjoyable atmosphere!Heads up pool not heated so no chance of a dip out of season, we were dissapointed by that !
