Served the purpose
We arrived at this hotel early in the morning and though we were unable to check in, we were allowed to leave our luggage.Upon our arrival back to check in, the process was quick and the staff helpful. When we arrived in our room the bathroom light was not working. When I told the reception the person asked if I wanted to change rooms. This surprised me as I would have thought that this was a given!!The overall impression that though the basics were done - clean room, there were no extras. Only one cup of coffee per person was alowed. All cups supplied were plastic "coffee to go" style.Overall, I was not excited about my experience.The location to the metro and the Eurolines bus station was good.

close to the transport links
The best thing about the hotel is its the location close to the transport links. You come out of the metro and walk strain into the hotel - the entrance to the hotel is literally 10 seconds from the Gallieni station. There are plenty of buses as well, including an international coach station - so the hotel could be a great choice for someone arriving to Paris by coach. Other pluses: there's a big supermarket and variety of shops just around the corner. Rooms are clean and beds reasonably comfy (though a bit small). There's hospitality tray in each room so you can have a cup of tea whenever you fancy one. Air conditioning works but it's a bit temperamental, sometimes working quickly and sometimes taking its time. Now, the not-so good points. We were in a triple room: two smallish normal beds and one that looked like a folding bed. We didn't have to use it (we only booked it as it was the last remaining room) but if you do need a triple room beware that the third bed is unlikely to be good for an adult. The room was small but that seems to be a weird Parisian standard. The bathroom's a good size though. The hotel claims to have a free wi-hi in each room but our room was in a corner of the hotel and there was no wi-fi signal. The signal was ok in the corridor so I guess it was also good in other rooms. So, if you want to use wi-fi avoid corner rooms. Finally, the location is not too good for those who like eating out - unless you're happy with McDonald's (not that I consider a Bic Mac with fries an 'eating out' experience!), hotel¿¿¿s restaurant and a small selection of eateries in the shopping centre.

Good deal
My stay at campanile porte de bagnolet was nice. The room was clean and of a reasonable size. I was surprised to see that there were 3 beds in the room for 2 people. Breakfast was a buffet, so you can eat all you want. I had my dinner for a reasonable price 17.5¿¿¿ which entitled me to a buffet of starters-main course or buffet main course-dessert. All the dishes I ate were really tasty. I was overall satisfied by the service I got from the hotel, the only aspect I would say needs improving in this hotel is that the rooms need sound proofing.

Beware of Hotel Campanile Paris Est - Porte de Bagnolet
Hi, This hotel cheats people . I directly booked hotel from their site for a night on 27th April 2013. When I was leaving they asked tat it has not been charged and charged me again for the room. When i came back and found that they have charged me twice for the same room. I requested via mail to resolve that but they responded to look into in 48 hours but they don't respond even after 7 days. This is highly irresponsible that they should not cheat foreign tourists. I was in Germany for some time and went to Paris for a weekend end ttrip but all this happened. I will suggest not to belive in what hotel reception people say and the Hotels Business ethics. My booking confirmation number was CONFIRMATION NR. 265136153 / 1 and it wass booked on 17th April 2013.

Good choice for Paris
If you want to stay in paris for a good price , here it is ( around 50 euros ) Securised parking ( 10 euros) and from the hotel, the subway ( Galli¿¿ni ) is just in front of. " le restaurant" is a good place to eat if you have no ideas to go The menu " all you can eat " is a good point, even for the breakfast ( 9,50 euros ). Bedrooms are classic and simple.... not luxurious but, when the lights are off, you don't see the d¿¿co... Curiously, you are near the motorway but NO moise from there as the windows are well soundproof... but... ...DON'T forget earcups for the night, as we did, the hotel is noisy from inside and , even if you claim to the desk, they can't do nothing.... Finally, the extra good point is the location.... near the "p¿¿re Lachaise" cimetery....
