Inconsistent with Pullman brand
Let's start with the bad stuff. The rooms were chintzy which is inconsistent with the modern design of the lobby. The bathroom badly designed, the toilet was in a separate room which felt more consistent with a youth hostel (e.g. tin toilet paper holder, cheap toilet seat) and the roof was so low that the shower had to go up into a space in the roof above the bath to enable it to fit. The carpets were of a low quality and there was sticky tape holding the wallpaper on the corner of the bedroom. The nespresso machine (good amenity) only had 3 different types of capsule - 1 decaf, 1 espresso, 1 lungo. So if the 2 guests staying in the room both wanted a long coffee then you couldn't. I know capsules are expensive and this goes straight to the bottom line, but guests at this type of hotel have these things at home and expect to be able to use them as we do at home. (The last day this end up as 1 decaf and 1 lungo, now really ...)On the plus side. Service is excellent. The location a mere 500m to Chateau de Versailles. The bed was very, very comfortable despite being 2 singles pushed together.The property looks like a reasonably new build so it is incredible that some of the structure (e.g the bathroom) is so bad. Additionally the property needs a hard refurbishment to get it up to the modern standards of the Pullman brand. For the money, stay in the Ibis next door.

Lovely Stay - Highly Recommended
I booked to stay here for 4 nights with my Mother. We drove in to Versailles just as the heavens opened with torrential rain. The SatNav guided us to the hotel, but it is easy to miss the turn. I'd stayed here before so remembered they have an underground car park, however I could not remember how to get to it. So I parked up in the main road near the hotel and made a dash for the hotel reception. I was greeted by the receptionist and the Concierge who both spoke perfect English. The concierge offered to go and fetch our car from where I'd left it, however I declined and instead was given instructions on how to gain access, and a very welcome umbrella.Check in was very smooth and quick, I didn't even need to give my name, we must have been the only British pair checking in. The receptionist provided us with a guide book and showed us on the map, the location of some good restaurants.Our room was a comfortably-sized Superior twin, with Mini-Bar (complimentary still and sparkling water provided). There was a kettle with tea and coffee provided (a surprise to me as I wasn't expecting this facility in a French hotel). Beds were comfortable, and the bathroom had a full range of toiletries.The general state of the room was good, there was some paint peeling on the bathroom wall/ceiling but the sort of fair wear and tear you expect in a busy hotel. The room was well cleaned and serviced throughout our stay. The lights in the vestibule of our room didn't work when we arrived, but they were fixed a day later after I reported it to reception.The first night we eat in the hotel restaurant. The food was of a very high standard, with lovely presentation, and generous portions. We had 3 courses that came to ¿¿¿130 but that included a gin & tonic. We thought the cost of the meal was reflected in what was served.Breakfast was included in our package. There was a very large choice of food available, starting with the usual selection of breads and pastries, cold meats, cheese, cereals and yogurts, and freshly squeezed orange or grapefruit juice. However there was also some lovely smoked bacon, sausages, mushrooms and gorgeously creamy scrambled eggs.Coffee was served at the table, and if you asked for tea they had a large variety of different teas, including English Breakfast.The hotel is excellently located within site of Chateau de Versailes, and across the road from a railway station (20 minutes to Paris).I shall definitely be returning to stay again.

We slept so well!
We have stayed in the Pullman before and it has become a favourite. Have stayed in both the attic and superior rooms, they are both lovely. The attic room is compact but does have a small balcony which is charming. This time we stayed in a superior room, plenty of space and very nicley decorated, however, the bed was amazing, it was like sleeping on air. It must have been super king sized and was so comfortable, we slept so well. Breakfast terrific, so much choice in a lovely setting. The bar great range of drinks and the staff are very attentive. Highly recommend the Pullman.

An absolutely divine Bed!
This has to be one of the most comfortable beds I have ever ever slept on. Dreamy. The food was excellent. We were there for a conference held at the hotel and even the snacks they prepared during coffee breaks were beautiful, delicate and delicious. As a group we paid good rates for the hotel. But the downside was that I wanted to cancel the third night stay which usually would not be a problem, but they charged 100% cancellation fee - even though we still stayed there for 2 nights. The staff were very friendly. The rooms were clean. The bathroom was okay, not as good as I think it could be. The location if you're touristing is excellent - so close to the Palace and the station. Trains are sporadic to this destination on weekends, and it took some colleagues 4 hours to make their way to the hotel on Sunday. But weekdays it was 2 1/2 hours or so from CDG.

Ideally situated for Palace of Versailles
The Hotel is very close to the Palace, but whilst good in some areas it is lacking in others. The bathroom badly needed to be restyled. The shower over the bath was too small and the tiles on the floor were in poor repair. The bed and main room (deluxe room) were very comfortable and the view over the Hotel de Ville excellent. The complementary coffee facilities were good, but the facilities for tea were limited. Only Earl Grey and herbal tea were available and whilst you could ring and request Breakfast tea it was not automatically given.Whilst the food was quite expensive, it was good and the staff in general were very attentive.
