Great location
Just spent a few days in Tarragona on a work trip and stayed in Hotel Lauria. Rooms basic and tad dated, comfortable, clean and had all you need. I think they also all have balconies.The hotel is quite cheap at 51 Euros a night but breakfast is an extra 8.70 Euro but not bad, usual buffet style with good selection of cold stuffs, cerials, toast and meats etc.Hotel has a pool area but bit out of season when I was there.My wife joined me on this trip so the cost on room basis suited well.The staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful, will make you coffee even if the bar area is closed, I had packages delivered for the job I was on and nothing was any trouble to them.The hotel is located near the end of the Rambla at the sea end and just a very short walk of a few hundred yards into the old town.The area seemed clean, and safe with lots of bars and restaurants and some great buildings, so the hotel is in an excellent position. I was working in the port (maine marina) which is just a 10-15 walk.Landed at Reus airport, a new and very quiet one, allow about 30 euros for taxi to or from the hotel to the airport but there is a bus service for about 3 euros that is open when planes arrive.Good hotel excellent town.

Comfortable and Convenient
A good base for exploring the beautiful old city of Tarragona. The hotel is well situated within walking distance of the major sights, ruins, museums and cathedral. The rooms were clean and comfortable and represent good value for money. The reception staff were helpful and polite.We stayed for a week and would have liked a little more variety in the buffet breakfast towards the end but that is a minor point. I would recommend it and stay there again.

Very comfortable and friendly.
I was happy that I chose to stay at this hotel. The room was of a good size with a balcony overlooking the swimming pool. Standard of cleanliness was excellent. Downstairs, I found the staff both at reception and in the bar very helpful and friendly. It is not possible to get wifi in your room but I was pleased with the wifi signal at reception. A nice friendly family orientated hotel that is good value for money and is located in Tarragona centre and near both the train station and the beach. I would use this hotel again.

Perfect location
Hotel is located in the heart of the Tarragona, few steps from the sea front and the old town.Rooms are comfortable, clean and quite big. We had a balcony with the view on the port and the sea. Basic, nothing special, but everything is on its place.The rooms didn't have fridge and wi-fi was working very slowly in the rooms.The bathroom was very basic.The service was nice.A perfect place for it's location.

Excellent location
Hotel is within strolling distance of the Old Town, and is located on the "Ramblas" where there are regular markets.The hotel has secure parking, but it is a bit tight for a family saloon car. There is public underground parking about 200m from the hotel.The room that we had on the second floor was spacious with an excellent bathroom which had an excellent walk-in shower and ventilation, but a fairly useless, but fashionable, wash-hand-basin.Reception was friendly and helpful.Buffet breakfast was adequate, but choice limited compared to some other hotels.
