A real Gem
We stayed weekend of 27th April 2013 for a wedding. the hotel seems so much better than the 3 star rating it has been given. our room (room 11) was very beautiful, amazing views, comfortable bed and sofabed for the children. The food in the restauant Friday evening and during the wedding reception the next day were excellent, not to mention the full welsh breakfast both days, our compliments to the chef. The staff were all fantastic, very warm and friendly, couldn't do enough to help us. great personalities and we know we will return for sure. James as master of ceremonies was brilliant, keeping everything running smoothly and entertained us all in the process.Helen (I think) at breakfast each day was lovely, so friendly and made us feel very relaxed and welcome, also made us laugh a lot.We checked out and then used the pool and sauna afterwards, which the staff were happy for us to do, great way to end the weekend. Can't recommend highly enough.

A wonderful five nights
My wife and I booked for bed and breakfast plus evening meal from April 7th to the 12th. We had a very comfortable, warm and spacious room. The breakfast and dinner menus were comprehensive and varied and the food was splendid: so splendid in fact that we put on considerable weight even though it was a walking holiday. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and a very warm atmosphere seemed to permeate the whole hotel. We loved Snowdonia and the hotel contributed greatly to what was a very enjoyable experience. We would love to spend another holiday in that region and at the Seiont Manor hotel.

Not what we expected!
Went here as a special birthday treat for my wife. Don't be confused by this place's name as there is a manor but this is dilapidated and you drive past it to get to the converted out buildings that make the hotel. Arrival at reception was average and it wasn't a warm welcome. Room was one of their junior suites which was nice but cold so I turned the radiator on! Overall the room was fine and bed comfy. Once settled we decided to use the leisure facilities which looked great online but all very tired, pool was cold, men's changing room roof was black with damp over showers and it is being used like the local swimming baths. The visit to these facilities were very short lived. In the evening we ate in the conservatory which was very nice and food great but there was very little ambiance andthe very helpful bar/waiter/restaurant manger all in one said the music player was broken. We slept well and the breakfast and service was great.Check out was delayed as we were DBB but this wasn't on the system so we had to wait for a manager to sort it out. Overall a lot of inconsistencies, average leisure suite and not the experience we were expecting.

Wonderful hotel with the friendliest staff in the world!
The hotel is set in a picturesque location with rolling hills and meadows all around. There's lots to do in the area as its so close to Snowdonia and all it's attractions. The hotel itself is very well appointed. The bedrooms are very large, comfy beds and all mod cons. Many rooms have balconies that look over the gardens. Both the Brasserie & the main restaurant serve exceptional food. It's a "foodies" paradise! Meals are served with a complimentary amuse bouche and before desserts you get a complimentary alcoholic shot. The only small negative is the price of the wine which was a bit on the pricey side, although there was a large variety. They make their own bread and you usually get at least 2 different flavoured warm rolls each. They also make their own ice cream & sorbets and they offer the most unusual yet delicious flavours such as pink peppercorn, welsh cake ice cream, parsnip ice cream and even chilli ice cream! Having said all this, by far the most outstanding feature of this lovely hotel is it's staff. They simply cannot do enough for you. The personal touch was evident throughout our stay. This was our 2nd visit and it won't be our last, cannot rate the place highly enough. I promise you won't be disappointed if you stay here, it is quite simply "magical"!
