Dont be deceived by exterior...
Inside this place is a little gem very modern with a good bar area with comfortable seating and a large restaurant which we ate in the evening which provides good wholesome food at reasonable prices.The rooms are comfortable and clean and the service provided by all the staff was very friendly and they could not do enough special thanks to the night porter who sorted out a very early breakfast for us with a beaming smile.We booked this hotel without any real knowledge due to late travel to a friends birthday party and will certainly stay again when flying in or out of Knock.Beware though it takes 15 mins by car early morning not 10 mins as quoted by hotel(howevewer the staff soon corrected)

Excellent Stay
I admit I was dubious about staying in a hotel on the main street with all the noise that might entail. I was very pleasantly surprised by the peaceful night's sleep I got. As a three star hotel, this is clean and functional. The rooms have recently been refurbished and they are of a good size. Most of the money seems to have been spent on the bar and restaurant, both of which were comfortable and easy to relax in. One word of warning, there is no lift. So if you pack heavy (which I do) be ready for stairs!! That was the only downside. The staff were all lovely and polite and it was easy to feel comfortable. The food in the restaurant was excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone.

Excellent
We had a lovely night in this hotel. It was clean, nice surroundings and the breakfast was fine.The meal we had in the evening was very nice I had the Cajun chicken which was very pleasant.the staff were nice and friendly felt homely. Well done

Dont let the exterior fool you
From the outside, this hotel looks shabby and run down. Take a peep inside and you will see that is bright and modern. I can't speak for the bedrooms as we only ate there but the food was excellent and the staff super friendly. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Good Country Hotel in Town Centre
Stayed overnight and was pleasantly impressed with the service and comfort. We dined in the evening in the restaurant and enjoyed duck for my partner and cutlets. The service was excellent and the price was very reasonable. Staff were friendly and efficient and this made a difference. Room was on the first floor and was roomy, clean and warm and had all the facilities one would expect of a good three star hotel. Full Irish breakfast was available and satisfying, along with full selection of fruits and cereals.
