slip sliding away
i am now on my 6th stay in the past 18 months and this hotel is showing signs of wear and tear. as a Hilton diamond I was upgraded to a corner suite nice size but needs an upgrade especially the bathtub area which is in dire need of some caulkngdon't get me wrong this is still a nice hotel and convenient as ever but it's showing it's age. ate at Ruth Chris another tired old chain in need of an update

Beautiful Hotel in Beautiful Toronto
The hotel was beautiful and nicely located in the middle of downtown Toronto. It was a solid 8 block walk from the Megabus stop which wasn't a problem reaching. The staff was great, Ruth Chris in the bottom of the hotel which is always awesome, and the gym/pool was great. Half the pool goes outside on the 3rd floor I believe which is beautiful. I took the elevator to the penthouse floor to check out the rooms because for $50 more I would've been able to upgrade and those rooms were beautiful so if you don't have a tight budget I definitely recommend it because you'll be sleeping like a boss! The only complaint I would have is that there is no free wi-fi. I think free wi-fi should be included in any trip to any exotic location. I know a lot of people within Canada will travel to this hotel but i'm sure they get a lot of Americans as well so when we leave the country we have no service and FaceBook/Twitter/Instagram are the only ways to communicate with our families back home and free wi-fi makes that possible.

Excellent Choice
One of our friends recommended this hotel and we booked this place for vacations. It really proved to be an excellent choice. All of us really had a kind of stay which we were looking for. Hotel is very clean, nicely decorated and full appointed with all amenities. Staff was very helping and polite all the times. Throughout our stay we always found them smiling. It was a pleasure to stay with such lovely people. Rooms were cozy and spacious. Food and services both were nice. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel, good location
Stayed at this hotel on business. The location is quite good, easy to get around downtown.The room was quite nice, fully renovated and modern. Bathroom is also modern and nice. There is a good work desk area, very practical set up. I had free wi fi which was quite nice. Comfortable bed but not the greatest pillows.The coffee maker was not working properly, which was disappointing first thing in the morning. There is a nice pool and deck, but it was a bit too cool to use on this trip.Check in and check out were very fast and efficient! I would gladly stay here again.I would gladly stay here again

Great downtown stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the downtown Toronto Hilton. The hotel is nice, friendly staff and located very conveniently for downtown sightseeing and access to public transportation. Great rates via Hotwire too!
