Very Friendly and Helpful
Stayed for 2 nights with my 2 grown children. I had reserved a triple room with 3 beds but arrived to room with 2 double beds. I immediately went to see the very nice lady that checked us in. She was very helpful and asked if bringing in a rollaway bed would be ok. I said yes and she came up and set up the extra bed for us. I tried to help her but she was adament that she will do it because it wasn't not right for me to have to do it. She was very nice and helpful. We did not get the chance to try the breakfast due to our schedule but the set-up looked very nice. I would recommend this B&B and would stay again.

Stunning Breakfast
The breakfast was so amazing and cooked fresh! The location was a little far out but they did provide bus times and the bus stopped right outside the lodge! the service was great the guy offered to take our bags all the way to the bus stop for us it was so nice! Great advice as well!

Wonderful welcome
We stayed in Belvedere Lodge on Monday night. We received a very warm welcome, and our room was ideal - spacious, spotlessly clean, cosy and with all the mod cons you'd expect. Breakfast was delicious and our host was wonderful. In fact, our breakfast was much tastier and the staff were far more attentive than the ones in the 5-star hotel we stayed in the next night. The location is great and I'd recommend Belvedere without hesitation.

Belvedere lodge ,Cork, Ireland
Stayed for a week. 18th to 25th of April. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Vinnie is a wonderful host and Margaret and Kathleen feed you very well. I would recommend anyone to stay here. Cork and the surrounding area is beautiful. The Irish are a very friendly bunch. Our sat nav wouldn't work all the way to the hotel. We asked a police lady for directions and she said follow me I roughly know where it is. She was brilliant. Police escort to your hotel!!! All in all a great holiday. Go for the craic. The crack. Irish people have a great sense of humour.

Our brief stay got progressively worse
We arrived in the evening as we were attending a family wedding nearby. The woman who greeted us was very pleasant and didn't even mind that one extra person (me) was to stay in the room. She gave us the key to our room and the front door and told us we could pop in or out at any time. The next morning however there was a different woman in charge and she wasn't so pleasant. She was rude and raised her voice to us because we had sat down at the only available table and it wasn't set up yet. After breakfast we all went for a lie down, we had all our stuff packed and we were ready to go. Obviously we were a bit too tired, as we nodded off. The woman came into our room at 12 and started roaring at us to get up and check out because they had to clean the room. We apologised and got up and got ready. My dad was bringing out stuff to the car and stopped to ask your one about the swarm of ants that we had noticed while packing. We could hear her from the room roaring that there were no ants! One member of my family had to go to the toilet before we left, and the same woman walked in on them, and without even apologising, she shouted to the other cleaner "Theres someone in here!". I know people have their off-days, but this was unacceptable and essentially ruined our otherwise excellent weekend. I find the rude and overall dismissive manner with which she treated us was very unprofessional. Will NOT be staying here again.
