Very good hotel
Decent hotel, very well located on 41st and 42nd Streets (entrances on both). Ground floor is just a lift lobby, the main reception is on a higher floor where there is a nice bar (friendly, good service and a decent bar food menu). Whole hotel looks freshly decorated. Buffet breakfast standard Hilton stuff, gym is reasonably well equipped and not too busy. I was on 37th floor and despite overlooking 42nd St did not have sleep disturbed at all by noise. Room was excellent - large, lounge area, two queen beds, decent shower, HD TV etc. good choice for business or leisure if you can secure a decent rate

Real luxury.
If you have ever stayed in a NYC hotel, you know that location is paramount and room size is at a premium. The Hilton is a perfect choice on both counts. These rooms are downright spacious. Comfortable beds with down comforters, multiple pillows, great showers, fluffy towels, multiple electrical outlets---and floor space to spare. I cannot say enough about how friendly and helpful the staff were. Everyone from the desk staff to the bell captains went out of there way to make our stay a pleasant one. We opted for the breakfast buffet, which was pricey, but definitely worth the cost. The waiter brought us chicken sausage on request and the selections on the buffet were great. I would highly recommend staying here.

VERY NICE!!
My mother, aunt, daughter and I stayed 5 nights at this very nice hotel. We were upgraded to Deluxe Queen. The decor was modern and had just been renovated. The beds were very comfortable. Our room was on the 42nd floor overlooking Times Sq. The location was perfect. Everyone at the hotel was very nice and helpful, especially Tony and Victor. Everyone went out of their way to help us. Security made sure you had a room key before getting on the elevator after midnight. The elevators were very fast. The housekeeping could use some improving. They did not dust our room or leave enough towels and washcloths and no bathmat. Would only leave 2 for four people. We had to write notes or call desk every day to ask for more. This was addressed with Chad (manager) who was very nice and apologetic. Upon checking out, the hotel suggested a flat rate limo take us to LGA. This was very much appreciated. All we had to do was walk out, hand a card to the attendant and tell him my name. Our limo was immediately there. Boy, was that service! Thank goodness we had our chauffeur, Manny Piccirillo take us to the airport. He went out of his way to make sure we were going to the correct terminal. If we had taken a taxi, they would not have dropped us off where we were suppose to be.**Advice--Check with airport before you leave hotel to find out your correct terminal. Also, do not get in taxi if their meter is broken (even if they say they go wherever and know how much to charge). They are not suppose to be driving.**Some fun things to do in NYC --Adirondack Schooner Night Cruise, Boathouse Restaurant in Central Park, Bryant Park to sit and relax, The Counter restaurant (great custom made hamburgers and fried pickles) at 41st and Broadway, Gray Line Hop On-Hop Off bus (would recommend taking the loop around town first--you get to see a lot of the city that you normally would not see).Would not recommend the NY Pass unless you know for sure you will use it on consecutive days to get your money's worth.Had a great trip!!

Upgraded to King Executive Suite - super clean, stunning view!
Took my daughter to NYC - her first visit. Almost stayed elsewhere, but so glad we stayed at this property!We checked in after flying into EWR, then taking the train to NY Penn, then walking to the hotel. Arrived at 1:00ish and were given a room - early! Thrilled to have been upgraded (without asking, and I'm only HHonors Silver) to executive level king room with view of Freedom Tower, ESB, etc.Room was immaculate! Bed was extremely comfortable and the room was huge - especially by NYC standards.View was stunning, and the double-glazed windows kept most of the noise out (plus, being on the 41st floor helped).I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Everyone we encountered was so friendly and helpful! Things to know - the hotel's entry off 42nd is next to Applebee's and is just a "wide hallway" with an elevator to the lobby. There are bellhops at a stand (and we easily checked our bags after checkout before picking them up later to head back to the airport) outside the elevator doors.Didn't use any of the hotel amenities (restaurant/bar/room service). We really only just slept here - we spent most of our time "on the go."Definitely consider this hotel - well worth the price (we got two nights for a total of $500). Location is excellent and very safe.

What a Cool Spot, and Great Stay
I stayed one night at this newly renovated hotel. My room on the 34th floor was great. The lighting and furniture was clean and modern. The b-room had a great shower. The internet was solid, and the location - well it's right there. I heard no street noise (34 floors up!).The lobby is on the 23rd floor - this hotel is on top of two other attractions (movie and wax museum). So this is a prime Hilton property. The price I got was terriffic too. Not sure why, but I'll take it.
