We always come back
We are regular customers at Petra Hotel for already a year, and we are planning on coming back again.The place is definitely not central, but it has great location right nearby the Grande Raccordo Anulare, so it's easy to reach the city center, and it has a bus stop right in front, where you can take a bus to the closest metro and from there anywhere in the city.The place is simple, but cozy. The breakfast is in a huge room with big windows and a nice view, so whenever we aren't in a hurry, we tend to linger a bit over a cup of coffee. In winter the main building is mainly in use, where the rooms are a bit smaller, but in summer we enjoyed staying in the other building just across the street, where the Residence Petra is. The rooms are way bigger, the same with bathroom and a cool balcony.In summer we also enjoy the swimming-pool. After a busy day it's nice to cool off while having a swim.The staff are always happy to help. Internet is working steadily. That's pretty much it - a great deal for what you get, pleasant people and away from the noise of the city. If you schedule isn't tight and you have more than 1-2 days to see all the sights, it's a nice place to stay. And with a car it's even easier, just watch out for the rush hours on the highway :-)

Hello that was nice to stay in that hotel.And also hotel was in good location i realy enjoyed there with my family and also was safe one thing that city tax i have paid and is located out of city. Thanks

Great value for money
I've been here years ago (2007) and thought I would comment on the hotel. Upon arrival it seems big and the lobby is nice, but it is quite outdated. A train ride and bus in to town isn't too bad bayou need to watch out for the hustlers at the train station trying to sell you their fake goods. The staff were friendly and I made friends with them on Facebook and am still friend with one of them today! They had a nightclub in the hotel and the breakfast buffet was great!

Very good value for money!!!
If you dont mind traveling to the city center like me (It takes about 40min: first 10 min by bus and then 30min by tube which costs just 1,5EUR!) this hotel is perfect for you! The rooms are comfortable and clean, there is a very nice pool there and... very very reasonable prices:) I would highly recommend this hotel!

Bon Hotel pour des conferenciers
This Hotel was suggested by our Point of Contact in Rome, he is normally used and well known by all NATO members.Rooms are quiet good and spacious with a small balcony.Hotel crew and staff very helpful and courteous.Even if it was not our first concern, the way to join Rome center was not very easy (sorry bad point for the Bus line compagny). We used to buy our subway ticket directly to the reception desk.Don't hesitate if you have a business trip to Rome, but ask for a good local transportation.
